We have used many instant and pod type machines over the years, but have always ended up going back to stovetop coffee pots. the only issue with them is the aluminium picking up corrosion over time. this pot avoids this problem with the ceramic pot. It looks good and makes great coffee.

We have quite a few stove top coffee makers and this one is a current favourite.There is something very satisfying about the ritual of tilting that little porcelain pot under the spout and later taking it off and carrying it over to the breakfast or lunch table, ready to pour a cup or two (maybe three if you drink small cups).A well made product, good value for money and never makes a mess like some of the other coffee makers we have.

Very nice.As with all stove top espresso machines you have to be around to turn off the heat after the coffee has finished brewing, otherwise you risk destroying the base part which is aluminium. You can't just go away and leave it like electric machines.The ceramic pot makes it much more attractive in my view than the common two part aluminium stove top devices. To remove the pot from the base after the coffee has brewed, you have to tilt the whole unit backwards because the metal spout of the machine projects some way into the pot spout. If you don't, you risk spilling a bit.I find that the pot lid can be difficult to grip if your fingers are the slightest bit damp or greasy.But those are small points. This espresso machine is good value for money, good looking and makes fine coffee.Update August 2nd 2014I'm knocking off a star, previously I gave it five, because a little of the black finish on the upper part of the unit where the pot sits has rubbed off, and I have not been using it more than a couple of months, though it is daily. But I don't think that should have happened in that time. I've been very careful when using and cleaning it.

When i was looking for some different kind of moka pots i thought this might be the one. But unfortunately the poor product design cannot be saved by its good looks. The porcelain pot on the pot always leaks after i pour the coffee. And the bottom funnel is too long which makes the coffee to drip downwards as well. Sorry Amazon but the replacement also is not good. I have decided to return this product as this does not serve its purpose.

I love this stylish but reasonably priced coffee maker. It's easy to use and produces excellent coffee and is all washable and uncomplicated in design. It's much admired.The Customer Service from the Company was fantastic. They were polite, patient and sorted my enquiry speedily and efficiently. I would recommend them and their product

I've been looking for a unique coffee maker for a long time, then I found this magic machine. It is like a conventional coffee maker but with a lot more style to it. It will definitely impress my family.The only down side of it would be the pipe that goes up and pushes the liquid into the ceramic pot, this is actually a long way up for the freshly boiled coffee, in my experience this can result in too weak/too strong coffee. It's hard to get the extraction time right.I can't complain however, it serves the purpose beautifully. :)

The concept is nice but it needs some refinement. The top is smaller than the bottom and can overflow. Also you have to really tip it to get the pitcher off the spout, causing spillage. That makes it not so useful. Also the bottom has a rubber ring component that wears out very quickly if you don't turn the burner off straight away. When it goes the thing leaks everywhere and it's not easy to find a replacement. I haven't seen this in other percolators.

I have used many espresso makers. This is the best I have ever come across.

Comprata per un regalo a mia moglie. Un design incredibilmente essenziale ed elegante, anche per il notevole contrasto cromatico sempre in voga. Qualitativamente ottima. La caldaia in nero sembra decisamente inscalfibile e il raccoglitore in porcellana bianca è ottimamente rifinito. il caffè? Eccellente, per la miscela sfruttata molto bene. Muy contenta. Envio super rápido. Preciosa cafetera. Por abajo es de aluminio y por arriba de porcelana. Hace un café muy buebo, no amarga el café. Hay que llenar de agua hasta la válvula, como en todas las cafeteras.

I bought this espresso maker as a gift because I have one and I love it! It is pretty, makes excellent caffè, and is easy to clean. Plus I can take the porcelain top off and pour my caffè at the table.
