I really like the look of these in our outdoor fireplace. The packaging was very secure so all of them came undamaged. My brother ordered multiples of these for 3 of his fireplaces. I would highly recommend.

I got 2 sets of these last spring when they were much cheaper and put back until this fall to use in our outdoor gas firepit on the patio. I have a sectional with white cushions around it. Well, the creosote started building up immediately, and by the 3rd use, started flaking off. The wind blew the flakes all over my cushions and became a complete mess smearing on the cushions. NOT good!

These fire balls are fantastic. They came in perfect condition. A rich black color to each ball. I have already ordered these same fire balls in Gray, and will make them a staple in my home staging projects. So cool to look at in the fire pit; makes the experience of sitting by the fire so much more interesting.

We love the look and initial performance, however after two burns and the lowest fire setting these balls are flaking on our light colored rug and furniture. So bummed…these did not perform as advertised even after brushing carefully before first use.

Great balls and half the price of local fireplace store. We went with black because we don’t want to have to clean them all the time. The gas will make the grey balls show the black streaks from the incomplete combustion of the gas.

The look is much better than the old, dusty faux wood. But, the balls will not sit in place without a grid underneath them. I placed an unused but damaged BBQ grill grate on top of the original grate to help position the balls. Suggest a BBQ sear grate with individual pockets to hold them better.
