Absolutely amazing.
The media could not be loaded. Very compatible with iOS and android. I used it in my iPhone and the audio was crispy clear. The noise reduction feature is the bomb! Very easy to setup and the battery life is great. The size is pocket friendly.

Great budget mic
Obviously this won't be as good as a Rode or DJI mic, but if you're on a budget and also want a spare mic in case you lose it or you do an interview, this is a really good option. I do find that it sounds loud enough on the phone but once transferred to desktop it is a little quiet - but it is easily fixed in edits with the click of a button.Little tip though: the 'noise reduction' button does literally nothing lol. It sounds exactly the same.

(iPhone version) Flawless and easy to use.
The media could not be loaded. First impressions - more later. The mic works flawlessly on my iPhone SE - plug and play. No problem. BUT I noticed something strange. When I plugged the mic into a USB power supply to charge it, the indicator flashed blue/red, not steady red as it should be, I tried a different (lower power) charge socket and it worked properly - steady red while charging and off when fully charged. If you get this flashing red/blue light, use a low powered charger instead!Update: Now everything is working perfectly. See the short video.

Too easy to lose. No way of securing it
Absolute waste of money. The clip is small and weak and the mic falls off repeatedly. Also there is no way of tethering the dongle which goes into your phone, or the microphone itself. There are no proper instructions. The sound quality is ok but is of no use if it fell off three miles ago! I’d give it no stars if possible. I’d share a photo if I still had it, but it dropped off on a hill walk!

Good Value for money
It is the best cheap mic I have found. It performs well above its price tag.

Problem when using with DJI equipment
This is a pretty good mic system for the price and the audio quality is good, although not broadcast quality, as you might expect. The biggest disappointment was that although the receiver works perfectly when plugged into the USB C port of my Android phone, or when connected to my PC; when I plug it into the USB C port on my DJI RC2 Drone controller it fails to switch on. The same problem occurs when using a DJI Pocket 2 camera. Whether this is a clever bit of DJI tech to force me to buy an (expensive) DJI mic system, or whether there is some other problem, I don't know. Perhaps someone from Boya can explain?

Pixel 7a Camera App - insure pick wired mic from video settings
Lovely bit of kit. 2 tips 1) green is noise cancelling on - don't use if can avoid so steady blue with disabled best 2) my android pixel 7a using default camera app using internal microphone by default. And keeps defaulting to it. Go into camera app ( once device attached and all blue lights ) . Pick video, pick cogwheel for video settings and on microphone ensure set to 'wired mic' .Very annoying and Andoird/Google Pixel issue not device.
