the idea of a fantastic whole trailer fan, without the fantastic install depth
We've had whole house RV fans for years, of various brands. The kick was they were already installed so I never had to cut the old vent off the roof, re-caulk and go though the mess. I found this kit and thought, well, it's cheaper and the concept is the same. Install took about 25 minutes with just simple tools. In and Out settings, pretty comparable noise on high as the big name ones. It was so easy though to install. Instructions were reasonably simple, but on point. I couldn't be more excited that it was cheaper and easy to install. I did a video on it and put it on the tube. well worth the money, quality seems very good, instructions on point and as soon as I turned it on, I could feel the draw through the trailer. We only had one vent, in the bathroom and it was pulling great air on low. If you have a ventline or the other brand, this will fit. as for the wiring, they say in the ad that one way gives you a few more settings. I just ran the red to the black and white to white. Well worth the money, grab it and shazam you have a whole house fan. Well done to the seller and manufacturer for the well thought out fan to work without any drilling and simple tools. Price, can't be beat and you can re-use the original vent cover, no caulk or cutting or crazy removal. Love it.

Instructions are pretty iffy, electronics subject to water damage, will see.
Inexpensive upgrade from original fan. Good airflow on high although noisy.Resonable airflow on medium much quiter than original fan. A little airflow on low very quiet. Installation is easy if you're pretty handy, if you depend on explicit instructions you will be frustrated. I'm a little concerned that the back of the control panel will be subject to water from rain; even with a hood on, splashing water can wet the panel.

Perfect Fit for older RV
As other have stated, the directions are very vague and you have to kinda figure things out yourself. Once you get the steps figured out its pretty straight forward. I used this in my 93 Sunline RV that is used off grid so I run on a battery source only. On High this fan is only pulling 17-18 Watts...not bad. Noise is not terrible, I sleep with a fan on anyway so I like it. This is a huge upgrade from the little 4 inch fan in the corner of the screen I had before. My hope for this fan is its ability to suck fresh air into the camper when I open it up (its a camp) and get the moisture and musty smell out quickly. It seems to work pretty well....if it does I may get another one for another vent. Its nice to only have to remove the interior part of the vent to install this, no climbing up on the roof to do anything. I'm giving 4 stars due to the directions being vague, adding to confusion during install.

What a great upgrade to the old âmini-fan.â
This was a replacement for the growling, roaring, fan blade throwing beast in the bathroom of my 1999 Fleetwood Southwind 32v. The instructions are not so clear but able to install with no problems. For those that purchase this item⌠The blue plugs go in the door setting screw/handle holes not being used.It was a direct replacement and a full upgrade. Due to my old fans age, the assembly was very yellowed. This operates, looks, and has so much better air flow.If your old fan is half as bad as mine was, get this. The install was very easy and is a serious upgrade (air in or out flow).

Excellent replacement for a basic fan
This was fairly easy to install (although having a 2nd person would be helpful). It's much quieter than the old fan and moves much more air. Being able to reverse the fan direction is another nice bonus among with multiple speeds. Quality seems to be good. Much better than having to replace the entire vent assembly. Our RV has a ventline and this worked perfectly. The only thing that didn't come with it were 2 small wire nuts...which I had on hand. Definitely worth the money.

Works is advertised.
If you have a modern trailer I guess I would say by that I mean you know 10 years or newer don't even question it purchase it slap it in it's a piece of cake you won't be sorry. Speaking for myself I wasn't sure because I haven't been in the trailer business that long I questioned exactly how this worked in application but my dimensions were correct so I went ahead and took the chance and ordered it after I saw what it was that was needed it's a piece of cake so like I said if your dimensions for the opening in your trailer or correct I wouldn't get hung up too much on which brand of factory vent opening you have cuz 99% chance it's one of the two that they have listed I couldn't find anything on mine because the factory ones that are really cheap have basically nothing other than that tiny tiny little motor and it's just sheet metal and plastic there's no name so I was not clear but it was very easy to install and it is a million times nicer works very well.Their instructions are mediocre I think they could do a better job for customers in the future of including some instructions that if nothing else just have a few more photos instructions worked as a minimum for me because I'm pretty mechanically inclined so I took it apart and could see how this one was supposed to go in for other people it might not be so clear
