Q: Can I add on a higher rated relay to allow this to control an older freezer with a rating of 13A?

Where is this fuse? In the supply to the ink bird or the takeoff for the freezer? The inkbird itself should only draw 3 watts although he power for the freezer does pass through the heating relay inside the device but the supply side is clearly rated at 10 amp/250 volts which is 2500 watts and way too much for a freezer unless you are talking industrial size. For a domestic freezer this should only be drawing a couple of amps and if it is blowing a three amp fuse then either your ink-bird is incorrectly wired or there is a short in your freezer circuitJust for comparison, a 300 litre chest Bosch freezer draws 90 watts which is less than half an amp.. You should only need 10/13 amps for an electric fire or cooker.

Hi Steven Sorry Iâve not found anything specific The last project I used sourcingmapÂ® Electrical Project DIY Case Power Enclosure Junction Box 6.5 x 4.7 x 2.5 Inch (165 x 120x 65mm ) from amazon. It has removable end panels that make it easy to clamp them to a piece of scrap wood and cut out a suitable hole with a cutting disk (or by drilling a series of small holes) Box is a little over sized for the temperature controller but it gives you a bit of space if you want to add a socket for the outlet to your heater as I did
