Works Great ! I have 3 units, and for my needs, the ability to choose different channels allows for 2 mic's and an instrument. I'm in a small intimate setting and it's perfect.

I purchase this item to use for outdoor use with a PA system and its speakers to be able to use it wireless however one pair of the transmitters and receiver did not work properly. The signal kept being lost even thou they were only five feet away. Contracted support they did not return three of my voice’s messages. You can’t speak to them directly you need to leave a voice message. contacted amazon they said Xvive had to issue a replacement. This was five days ago still have not heard from Xvive. I will have to return and buy a different one elsewhere.

I was excited to try these with my small P.A. setup. I fully charged the devices and tested at home on a powered speaker and audio source. I also tried on an SM57. Sound quality is great. Changing the channels was easy. Also, it has a mic/line input switch, which is nice. The Y splitter charging cable was nice so you do not take up 2 usb ports. Here's my only issue. I used them on a parade float with a singing artist through my small p.a. I had the xvives connected from my digital mixer to my powered speakers. Everything was going well all the way down with people on both sides. The people were moving and grooving until we reached the main stretch. This is where there were a few thousand people with cell phones caused interference and caused the sound to go in and out. I was quick to run an xlr cable to get the sound back. I believe these are awesome with a low populated area since everyone uses 2.4G. I returned them and hoping for a 5G version to purchase.

If all you need is to mic a mic wireless in a limited range, this works great. For all other purposes, not so much. PROS: super easy to use plug and play which is great for one purpose and one purpose only: making a mic wireless. If you're DJing a wedding or event in a small to mid-size room, with no interference going on, you won't have any issues. Most weddings, you'll be fine. CONS: If you're trying to DJ off the thing and run a line signal through the transmitter, you won't get the same performance. I would not recommend using the line signal feature, or using this for anything other than a mic. Both transmitters will interfere with one another. So if you're using one for a mic, and one for music, you will get interference. I was thinking I would use these to replace cabling my speakers as it has been advertised for, but the fact that you have two transmitters so close to each other (one for left and one for right), you will get interference and drop out. So, not recommended for that use. For both mic and line, it starts cutting out at anything more than 30 feet, even though it says its a 90 foot range. Most my gigs are more than 5 hours, and on low battery (after 3 to four hours) you'll get even more dropout.

This product basically works as advertised if the conditions are suitable. I bought a pair of receivers/transmitters for using both as a microphone and for going wireless with my speakers. As a mic in a crowded event, you have to do a little trial and error in order to find a frequency with no interference. I often end up with little time to do this and the result is audio dropouts during speeches. In the case of sending audio to speakers, I do set up before events, but find that when the event starts to fill up, if there are many people between the transmitter and the receiver, the sound will cut off. Make sure you compensate for that with positioning, or perhaps raising the transmitter with an XLR cable. Now for a more serious issue, one of my transmitters is flawed, and will not fully lock on to any of my handheld mics. This has resulted in many times where the transmitter falls off the mic, and I've had to duct tape them together. This is unacceptable, and I am sorry to say, the unit has already broken because of this. The first time it did, a plastic cover came off and I glued it back in. The second time, last night, some internal pieces also came off, when the unit fell from the mic, and I still don't know if I am going to be able to put it back together. The other unit that I got does work perfectly, as it locks into place just fine. I'm sorry to have missed my return window before I detected this problem, but I wouldn't have used it anyway as I live abroad and it is not easy for me to ship stuff back.

This product doesn't have range. I use it for a group exercise class to connect two speakers that are about 15-18 feet apart without an XLR cable. It constantly breaks connection. Buy the U35D instead; it's a bit more expensive but it works much better.

I have used these things twice and both times they preformed as advertised. So much easier than 20 ft XLR cables to untangle and roll back up.
