They work .. but
They work well if your trying to add a few short strips together , but if your trying to extend a 10m cable don't bother . I think it's more to do with it being the maximum length of the cable than the connectors themselves

Prefer these east to use
Good connectors slide led strip under connectors easier to make adjustments

Bit fiddly and had to add some sticky tape but did the job
Having installed LED strip lights for my son last night, I cut them in the wrong place and we were left with one small section not lighting up. These connectors came to the rescue! It's important to note that you need to lift up the silver bits inside the connector and put the copper from the strip under the silver connectors.Also, make sure to have your lights going in the right direction. (I didn't the first time!) The only weird thing I found was that, having put them in the right way and clicked both shut, one side would only work if I applied pressure to the connector. I solved this by tightly wrapping it in sticky tape. I'm not sure why it needed the extra pressure but am thankful the tape did the trick.

Didn’t work for me
These just did not work for me. No matter how I tried to slot the leads into the little brackets they just didn’t not line up so didn’t work.
