Got these as a gift for someone. Jars are perfect size for what they are used for. Packaging was the best....no way would they break in this box!

Note: the title refers to these as regular-mouth jars (which they are) but there might be some confusion as the product description erroneously states that they are wide mouth jars...These are versatile jars and the glass is of good quality. I have many canning jars in a variety of shapes and sizes and use them for so many things -- freezer jam, storing dry goods and left overs, serving beverages... I prefer jars made in the USA or France for actual canning, but I use other brands for everything else. These are jars are quite small (8 ounces) which is exactly what I wanted. But for someone not familiar with canning jar sizes, definitely take a look at the product dimensions as well as the volume contained in a standard measuring cup to avoid disappointment later. Just for comparison, I generally serve iced tea in 16 or 20 ounce Mason jars. The jars are of a good weight and feel sturdy (not always the case when buying non-name-brand jars). I like the cute shape. The glass is of uniform thickness (also not always the case) and is well made with a smooth surface and rims. Some jars of lesser quality have very prominent and or rough mold lines, but that is not the case with these jars. The mold lines are barely noticeable and there are no obvious bubbles or other objectionable flaws in the glass (no glass is absolutely perfect). There are no measured markings on the jar, so these are 8 ounces when filled to the brim (in canning, just to the wide ring). The jar does have the underlined term 'Mason' in italics (no longer an actual brand name, but still used to designate canning jars) lightly embossed in the glass with the word 'perfect' printed underneath in all caps. Some people prefer unmarked jars, but I like the logos on canning jars as sometimes it showcases premium brands and other times just gives the jars a an interesting and fun, rather vintage look. The tops are the standard two-piece flat metal lids + screw-on bands used for canning. The bands are a bit more high-profile than usual but they feel more sturdy than most. Keep in mind that the tops only provide a true seal when used for canning. Since I won't be using the jars for canning, I will just replace the metal lids with easier to use plastic ones. The jars arrived very well packaged -- each one rests in its own cut-out in a styrofoam block and the arrived in perfect condition (be sure to open the box right side up, or at least be prepared to catch them if opening upside down (or just open on a carpeted surface). The price is higher than if I purchased the jars locally, but seems reasonable for having them delivered to my home.

I love these cute jars. They are the perfect size for storing my herbs and spices.But here's the thing... I washed three of them in the dishwasher and they sat in there overnight. The next morning when I removed the lids they had rust on them. That's pretty quick for rust to form. I know that I took care putting the lids in the dishwasher standing the sealing top up and down, not laying flat. The rings were placed on the rack with the threads facing down, so no water would collected in them. The heated drying for the dishwasher was also used. There was no directions indicating that the lids should be hand washed and promptly dried.I will continue using the jars knowing this is a concern.

Good quality with a well-design. They jars are small, but good enough to hold jams and jellies. With the 2 piece lid, it does provide a lasting and more reliable seal.

These are perfect for my rose sea moss!I jar it , and eat from there! The last set I had the tops rusted so with this one I will recommend to wash and dry the tops immediately.Easy to use i sterilize with hot water before using them.

Nice size holds a good amount. I used these for snack jars in the pantry so my kids don't over do it. Very nice sturdy. I'm very pleased.
