Hello The countdown is easy to set up especially when you don't need it countdown for days. You just press the mode key to enter countdown settings, use up/down key to adjust hours then press mode again to move to set minutes, as well as seconds. Once you set up the countdown time just hit the snooze key to start or pause. The countdown can not auto-repeat, you have to press the snooze key to make start over

Hello,you can only set the countdown by clicking buttons.there's no remote.Here are some tips:1, click "Mode" to enter countdown setting.first you will see hours blinking.use up/down key to adjust ,then click mode to move to set minutes.as well as seconds.2.after set well the correct time.click mode to set countdown days.you will see 0 00,if you do not need countdown days ,then ingore it.If you wanna to set countdown for days then the it will countdown for days priority.after days countdown done, click mode again you will see CD--,use up/down to turn countdown on,you will see CD--ON. Then hit the snooze key to start/pause.you will hear last 4 second beep when countdown ends
