Tetra Marine Flake Fish Food, 52g (pack of 1), for Small and Medium-sized Marine Fish

I tried both the crisps and the flakes from Tetra to see which my marine fish preferred. My preference is the flakes as they are easy to add to my tank by holding for a few seconds under water for them to wet. The water current then moves the flakes around the tank and the fish are very active chasing the food. With the crisps, I find that I have to soak them or else they float and disappear over the weir. My fish are not as keen on surface feeding, preferring mid-water feeding. From the activity of the fish I think they also prefer the flakes and so in future it will be the flakes.

The only flake food I ever buy. I've been using Tetra products since the 1980's and wont be changing anytime soon.

These flakes are very dry and I find I have to hold a pinch underwater to soften them, they then disperse well with the action of the water flow and wave makers. The fish enjoy them and the container seems to have an inexhaustible supply of flake....a lot of food for your money!
