Went from index sized recipe cards to these 4 x 6. Should have done it ages ago. Only thing I found it lacked was Tab cards to separate things. Like for Meat i made dividers for Beef, Chicken, Pork and for Entree's American, Italian, Asian, German, Mexican. (Guess I'm an International eater!). Other than that, it will fit any kitchens decor and I like the slit on the top that I place the card in to hold it up for me. Holds a lot of recipe cards. I bought 50 more and they all fit so it'll hold a hundred cards.

This was such a cute gift for my housewarming party, and having everybody write down a recipe for me. The box is very cute and sturdy with a good magnet and handle, and the slit is perfect for holding the cards. They came with some dividers for different types of recipes.

So impressed with this recipe box that I used for a shower. It is so well made an exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

This is the cutest recipe box to keep on your countertop! Beautifully constructed out of wood with a dapper leather strap for opening and closing. Inside you’ll find a mix of blank recipe cards and category separator cards. I love the small detail with the engraved line along the top that allows the card to stand while you’re using the recipe and the dainty “recipes”inscription. Super functional & perfect for all aesthetics.

I am completely satisfied with this recipe box. My old recipe box was for smaller recipe cards-it was old and looking a lot worn. l Iooked at a lot of recipe boxes and finally chose this one. I am very pleased with this one. Do not hesitate to order--you will be very satisfied. I am looking forward to transferring my older cards to the new larger cards. This box comes with dividers and recipe cards and I have also purchased more cards to go inside my new box! Very happy with this item!! And another plus for me--it matches my bread box!!

Looks good and easy to use

This box is exactly as shownExtremely solid with magnetised leather strapColour as shown(Not yellowish like other reviews have mentioned in the past)The only suggestion I would give the manufacturer is not to jam the recipe cards in, possibly have something that'll keep them upright in the box.Like bubble wrap or something like it.I had to use a spatula to lift them up from the bottom, as they were pretty jammed in there made the edges creased.They're perfectly fine now, so not worth losing a star over.Would highly recommend this recipe box

Love this recipe box, perfect size, well made and very functional

The lid is too heavy for the cheap hinges. The entire lid came cracked.
