I have subtle seborrheic dermatitis on my face that most dermatologists brush off. This is the first moisturizer that makes my skin feel softer and not as clogged and congested as before. As a nurse practitioner, I’m pretty sure this is seborrhea caused by Malassezia. Nothing has worked in the past, including prescription medications. So glad I found this product. Started working by the 3rd day!

It took me years to figure out that I had fungal acne and this had been a game changer daily moisturizer. It’s lightweight on my greasy skin, actually moisturizes and clears my skin at the same time. Since using this, my skin has been perfect. I can use this in the dead of dry cold winter and in the height of humid hot summer and this is perfect every day. I wish this had been around sooner.

Gets the job done

Ive been dealing with a dermatitis rash for three years. It's been in a constant state of flux between awful and not quite so bad as awful. It started on my face and quickly started appearing on back of neck, neck, chest, and back. After seeing a dermatologist and being misdiagnosed to the point of making it so much worse, I was quickly giving up hope and my mental well being was becoming more and more despondent. I started researching on my own and eventually came to find this brand. I started with the moisturizer. It made such an impact I then purchased the serum to go with it. Again, results were so promising even after one application. I then purchased the face wash and im now heading over to grab the body wash. This stuff is spendy but its quality and results have been unmatched for me. Im finally starting to see the light at the end of a long perilous and mentally challenging journey.

This moisturizer is not what I expected, but in a good way. This was my second order. It's a very serum-like texture that will feel a bit sticky until it absorbs, but I have really liked how it cooperates with my sunscreen and makeup. I find it amazing how moisturizing this can be without it being a heavy cream. I just learned about fungal acne recently and was going to look for a malassezia-safe eye cream and serum after this, but this actually contains everything I'd look for in those products! Hylauronic acid, niacinimide (sp?). It's very nice.

Way too sticky. It dries on my face like a film, leaving me looking shiny and my eyebrows crusty, and sometimes rubs off in glue-like flakes. I’m sure the ingredients are very effective, but as a moisturizer it’s lacking comfort.

Although this is meant as a face moisturizer, I actually bought it for my scalp where I experience the most flaking and itching. My hair is kinky/curly and extremely dense so the scalp doesn’t get to breathe well which aggravates the itchiness and flaking. Before using this product I generally would start itching by the 3rd day and would have to wash by the 5th or 6th day. For anyone with natural hair who spends hours twisting after washing having to do this twice a week is extremely time consuming. I was able to stretch my wash day to 10 days using this moisturizer. I’ve tried every oil there is and they ALWAYS cause buildup. I had no idea that the oils were potentially aggravating my dry scalp as well. I have almost no build up with dermazen and while my scalp does still get slightly itchy by day 6/7 that’s a huge improvement. Just having the option to delay my wash day by a few days is a huge time savings. Not to mention a clean happy scalp. Thanks Dermazen!
