Q: Does this item come with less distressed fabric? I expected it to be more evenly colored.

I found this to be more distressed than the picture suggested. That, plus the sizing was smaller than I would have liked.

Q: does this have any stretch?

No stretch... and it runs small... I got a 3x because I'm busty but it was more like an XL

Q: What is the difference between the 1x and 1x plus or is it tha same thing

I am unable to answer this as I returned the product and did not re-order.
