Lucas Oil 10278 Engine Oil Stop Leak - 1 Quart

My daily beater commuter car developed a leak at the rear main seal. Mechanic quoted a grand to fix. There's no way I was going to pay that but the leak was pretty embarrassing. I figured what the heck. I'll try this mechanic in a bottle because why not lol. My gnarly leak completely disappeared within 2 days. I can actually park in my driveway again. Holy crap. Who knows how long this will last. At the very least it bought me time. I will be adding a quart of this into every oil change.

Lucas has been making quality products since 1989 and if you an older ride that is smoking or a little noisy this additive will do the trick. A great value and another quality product from my friends at Lucas.

I normally dont write reviews but I needed to on this Lucas product. I never have any luck with stop leak anything, but I've used Lucas oil stabilizer for years and have always liked their products. This year I tried their stop oil leak product on my old Ford truck. It has a 460cid motor with 170k miles on it. It's all stock no major work done to it. It had a major oil leak from the rear main seal, and I'm to lazy to do all the work to change the seal. So I tried the stop leak and it to my surprise it stopped the leak 100% no bs. I couldn't believe it so I tried it in my Mini Cooper as well. It has well over 200k and leaked a lot of oil. I'm not sure where the leak is, so on my last oil change I added the stop leak. It reduced the leak 95% it could be a 100% and the few drips may be left over oil on the chassis. I totally recommend Lucas stop oil leak! Actually all the Lucas oil products are second to none.

I'm not one to write many reviews, but I had to give a shout out to Lucas Oil Stop Leak.I inherited a 2002 Saturn SL Sedan with 220k miles that leaked considerable oil on my driveway. I replaced the valve cover gasket, which was some of the problem. But, the front main seal and the oil pan were both leaking significantly. The car just isn't worth lifting the motor out to replace those seals.So, I bought the Lucas oil stop leak not expecting much. I would have been happy if it just slowed the leak rate a little. But to my surprise, it stopped the oil leaks completely in about 100 miles driving.Thank you Lucas Oil Stop Leak! Best money I have spent in a long time!

Used two times, didn't stop my small oil leak from the sparkplug pit seal.Each time raised an engine light for vacuum leak indicating that a sensor has been affected. The engine light disappeared after a few driving cycles.
