Great Headset and Customer Support.
These Headset Comms are a great value at this price point and make ridding with others or with someone riding pillion way more fun and much safer. If riding alone then you can listen to music or take a phone call if necessary. I recently got my girlfriend to start riding and being able to communicate while on the road while she was learning has been indispensable. Debris in the road, cager about to pull out and cut you off? The ability to call it out and warn each other, or to give pointers about why I'm doing what I'm doing what I'm doing, has helped her ride confidently and safely. Before she started riding her own bike she would ride pillion on mine and having the ability to talk instead of using the hand signals we'd developed put her at ease which made her less tense and thus made both of us safer, as I could remind her to lean with me, etc. She is now riding an 2006 SV650 with a slip on and I ride a 2003 ZX12R with a PC & full exhaust and even at highway speeds the sound quality and volume level are more than adequate, for both the intercom function and for listening to music. The ability to share a music source between the 2 devices is also a nice feature and switching from the music mode back to intercom is as simple as tapping the button on the headset. Setting the devices up to pair with our phones as well as each other is simple and works well with voice prompts and a tone once connected. Once set up the 1st time they automatically pair with your phone and will pair up with the other intercom with a push of a button on the device. The build quality of the device is better than I expected, and the head set and microphone is better than other similarly priced products. The range is also surprisingly long, at least a few city blocks, and of you really need more than that just call the other person and you can use your phones for unlimited range. The battery life is also great and can be checked by looking at the Bluetooth settings on your phone. It will also remind you to charge once it falls below a set point. They also come with 2 different ways to mount the device to your helmet. The earphones fit in the cut outs in helmets designed to accept them and will also fit comfortably into helmets with out the cut outs. Installation is as simple as removing the pads from the helmet (great time to wash them), sticking in the provided Velcro, running the cables, and tucking in the wires behind the pads. It can take a bit of experimenting to find the perfect position for the headphones if your helmet isn't made to accept them but any volume issues are 100% resolved once they are positioned correctly. The devices are water resistant and durable, so no worries about getting caught out in the rain or quickly unplugging the device and tossing it in your pocket to run into a store, though I would be careful with the wiring when doing so, but as long as you don't just rip the thing off your helmet your fine. Finally the customer service is awesome! The devices have a warranty that the company stands behind and they responded extremely quickly to and questions. I had previously purchased a cheaper set of comms which were about the same price point but were absolute junk. One of the devices quit working and the others headset's mic went out before the headphones gave out, all within a few months. Don't spend $600 on a single Comm Unit or waste your hard earned money on junk. I honestly can't imagine any way that they could be worth that kind of dough when you can get solid reliable device for a fraction of the cost with better customer support and service than anything else on the market. Do yourself and your partner/riding buddies a favor and get this device and spend the cash you save on new gear or a project bike.

Massive bang for the buck , crystal clear
Been using these in the woods on dirt paths for upwards of 8 hours with 0 issues what so ever. We don’t even think about these things. Distance is fair, once a rider gets far away to a point where you can’T Dee them through the trees the audio crackles and goes off. It reconnects as soon as they are in range which is impressive. Farther would be better but they’re mainly are intended for local communication or walkie talkie distances. Again, the other rider would be past your eye sight anyway.Pros: very clear. Lightweight. Impressive battery life and under 2hr charge. The communication button over rides either rider listening to music. Either rider can listen to their own music or share, one button forces voice connectivityCons: no connection memory at all: once shut off you must reconnect the 2 devices. So after you use them one day, you need to reconnect again the next day. Kinda silly and annoying. It’s like a daily Bluetooth sync. But, even if you lose distance connection they reconnect as long as they’re on.Speakers are about 1/4” thick. They do press on your ears and you will feel them eventually causing pain. Careful placement helps but they have so much excess plastic around them they could be thinner.Overall, I’d only opt for another brand if the speakers were less thick OR they always instantly connected. These are well worth every penny.

Great upgrade over the original, but has 1 super annoying con.
I've had the originals GXP comms for about 2 years. They're great for what they are, but I've always hated that the "volume" buttons actually primarily change the tracks, and you needed to press and hold the buttons to change the volume. And when you do, it goes to far in either direction. Additionally, I never liked that you needed to press and hold two different buttons to power it on and off. This X10 solves both with one single feature!!! The jog wheel is so intuitive to use, and also doubles as the singular power button!AWESOME!Now the Con:You need to use a PROPRIETARY USBC cord to charge it!!! WHY??? This is not just inconvenient, it's ridiculous. Absolutely none of my other chords, or adapters will fit. If I lose this chord, I won't be able to recharge the unit(s)

Better now
Bought a pair of XGP10s in February. They worked great sound was great and intercom and Bluetooth connectivity was spot on. On the third use one dial came off and now is useless. Two days after return date. A couple of weeks later the remaining intercom will not charge. Two months after purchase both are useless. Buy the extended warranty.I am changing my review because I did like the quality of the sound. Second the company did reached out to me to make it good and that means a lot. Also, while the other with the charging issue now works after a reset to factory settings. I learned this from the Manual for the XGP intercoms I just received which I purchased ( with extended 2 year warranty) to replace the x10s. (I lost the manual).

Great quality product that is easy to install and easy to use.
Great product. Easy install with multiple options. Two mount options. Two microphone options, swing arm or button for a closed face. Do not notice any weight gain. Fits a multitude of helmet sizes with enough cord length but not too much. The wire thickness is skiny enough to tuck easily. Comfortable as you do not even notice the thin speakers. The operation isn't super intuitive, but simple with the clear directions and easy to remember. Used on scooters at around 40 mph with open face helmet. No wind noise transmitted. Never got more than about 50 feet apart, but had no loss in clarity of transmission. Able to speak in normal levels and hear eachother clearly. Phone calls sound very clear. Music is slightly degraded as the speakers don't have good bass but allows for Bluetooth music and is super simple to use (when following the how to guide supplied.) Very happy. Looks good, sounds good, works great.
