One very nice bike computer
This is one very nice cycling computer. I didn’t want to attach sensors on my bike because I have two bikes I use. If you are not concerned with heart rate (mine is tracked on my Apple Watch) or cadence, this little guy does it all due to having GPS and the price is affordable. I highly recommend this computer! The app syncs and shows your workouts and even your route with the speeds you were going. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Good for some, just not me
I am new to road cycling and require a specific app to track my data. This brand specifically just does not pair well with training peaks. I connected with customer support to try and find alternative solutions with no luck, so I’ll be returning.

Great Bike Computer for indoor and outdoor use
I have only been able to use this one since I got it, but so far it has been great. The available Indoor mode is one of the main reasons I purchased it. The app is mostly easy to use and the NAV easily connects to it. I already had the right mount on my bike, so it just snapped right in. So far it’s been an overall great experience with the XOSS NAV.

Features are great ... but incomplete
This is a useful navigation computer at a reasonable price but the features are incomplete.I was pretty excited to get this after getting lost(*) a couple of times on mountain bike adventures on new trails. The price was right and I have the XOSS G2+ (which is a good product for the price) so I figured I'd stick with the brand. The NAV gets the job done but it's annoying how many features only work part-way.A common data file for trails is GPX. GPX data files must be converted to XOSS Routebook format for use with the NAV. I was unable to find any way in the XOSS app to convert a GPX file. The conversion is done by creating a user account on the XOSS website and uploading the GPX file. This not only converts the data format but also makes the map available to be downloaded by the XOSS app where it can be loaded into the NAV ... but it's not that simple! When the conversion to Routebook was performed the user gets to add a map summary and description. The generated Routebook file gets generated with an *ID number*. While the summary, description and serial number can be viewed in the catalog of maps available in the XOSS app only the *ID number* can be seen in the NAV menu selection when choosing the active map! When I have 30+ trails loaded into the NAV how am I going to remember which ID number belongs to which map when I'm choosing a ride? Why isn't the summary available in the NAV Routebook selection menu???Another incomplete feature is the units selection. While imperial units (feet/mile) can be selected instead of metric the Routebook units are *always* in metric. You think you can tell the Routebook maps apart because you're looking for a trail that is 13.2 miles long with 1,833 feet of elevation gain? Think again - that's always in km and meters. Only the instantaneous readouts of speed, distance and elevation are converted to Imperial units. It appears that there is a periodic chirp that is emitted when on the selected Routebook trail. If one departs from the trail then an "OFF ROUTE" is displayed on the NAV and the chirp stops. Shouldn't the NAV be silent while on the trail and chirp when you are off route to get your attention rather than constantly harassing you with a periodic chirp? The XOSS app integrates seamlessly with Strava and can automatically upload workouts - that's great for data collection and performance comparison. This works as expected. The NAV has excellent battery life. The NAV works and has the features advertised but it just doesn't feel like XOSS cared about making a polished product - it's got many rough edges. Potentially all of this could be fixed with a firmware update ... but when will that happen? (I've reported multiple firmware defects to them). The fonts are large and blocky. The values are easy to read but the labels (e.g. "heartrate", "speed", "distance") are small and blocky and *difficult* to read (especially while riding). More difficult to read than the G+. This is likely a trade-off due to the display on the NAV being a bitmap with no gray-scaling for hinting the font glyphs. This keeps the cost down on the unit and likely helps improve battery life (less CPU load) but you are going to have to memorize which readout represents which measurement. The plus side is that you can customize the display with your own selection of measurements/readouts. I haven't tried this yet and don't know how well it works nor what the limitations might be.On the upside I haven't gotten lost on any recent back country adventures since purchasing it.(*) I was never really *lost* before because I'm a *man* and men don't get lost ... there are just times when men aren't completely certain where they are or possibly which turn to take. ;^)

navigation feature not that easy to use
This was a bit too complicated for me as I was not able to get the map navigation programmed. Ended up returning it and bought the more basic model from same company - has all the same features except navigation. Anyway I think the screen is too small for me to read a map while underway.
