Worked on my 2006 BMW X5
I only needed one, but ordered the two pack. One of them did not fit (I think I just needed to maybe file off some of the white plastic wing pieces, but the other one did fit. My break light started working again, and the warning light went off. So it did the trick for me! Easy to install, just had to remove the back trunk panel, no need to pull of the entire light holder.

Misleading pictures
Every picture shows 2 of them. Other listings of same/similar product state 2 pieces, for the same price. Very misleading, as you will only receive one socket. Haven't tested it, likely going to return item considering I have 2 tail lights and if one side socket needs replaced, i'd like to do both together.

These don't fit the brake lights they do the marker lights
