Problems solved!
Update: The CEO/founder contacted me and we figured out the problems together and solved the issues. This is a very nice guitar that employees the use of AI and smart technology to connect to the internet to bring in back beats and loops to enhance your music. I figured out that they needed to update their app and the software within the guitar which they did and this solved some of the issues. We made a few other tweets as well and manually configured the network. I figured out that the issue was more about initiating the new guitar rather than the connection itself so I concluded that it was really more of a security issue. As a tech expert I know this is just a part of technology development and there are always growing pains when you create something new. Louis was kind enough to actually give me a guitar after I had these difficulties and this is very generous and good of him to do! I will continue experimenting with it. It is a nice futuristic looking guitar. We in the music community will never go all out for AI music because we know it detracts from the original creation of human music on the traditional instruments we have always loved but it does open a window that may somehow augment what we do as humans to make the experience more enjoyable for more people. AI would be nothing without the human created material that is already out there and is used in the machine learning process for AI. Still it is a fun concept if used responsibly. Keep innovating! Not everything is meant to be recreated or changed and artistic processes don't always need to be innovated but it can be complemented with a few tools that help us think about how we produce music and sound.

Great travel guitar and guitar in general,
It does not sound as good as my Larrivee or Martin, but very good for a carbon fiber guitar. Plays real well up and down the neck, sustains forever. It has to be super durable, even in dry winters. Volume is fine with or without the "effects". Nice and light and couch-friendly. There is a small speaker inside the guitar that plays the effects, and it does work. The effects themselves are pretty cheesy, but the reverb, which is the one you want anyway, is OK. Tuner basically works, well enough. I have not tried all of them. Metronome is handy, too. I have not tried the recorder or the looper. I did have to file down the bottom of the saddle to lower the action (no truss rod in a carbon fiber quitar.) I also replaced the nut with one with a more normal string-spacing as the one supplied puts the string too close together for me. I bought the charging stand, which looks cool in my room, and the strap, which is not recommended as it is expensive for what you get and has to be removed when you mount the guitar in the stand. This a very well thought-out guitar, and I have owned a lot of them.

A modern futuristic Guitar.
Yes quite the modern tech toy ..... well not really a toy and something that will take a while to master . Great tone but I have noticed that the effects are far better when using an amp ..... the built in pre amp is OK for practice but to get the full sound you need an amp . It does need a strap as it starts slipping around.... you would think that for the money spent a $10 strap could have been thrown in .

Great sound, well built, many features, you must be willing to explore the electronics.
I find the sound qualit very good without ann of the spedcial effects. With a bit of reverb or chorous it is even better. The built in tuner is excelent, There are many features in teaching mode that are great, The playability right out of the box is first class. The electronic amplifer built in to the guitar is similar to a cell phone in that there are many functions. You will be on your own to figure out how that work as there is no documentation included. You can find some basic information on you tube. The advanced features require a wifi connection to function. If not connected to Wifi you can still play it as a normal acoustic guitar,

Amazing!
Not like I needed another guitar but wow. I had played one of these about a year ago, finally decided to pull the trigger so glad i did. YouTube videos give you a great overview of this guitar so I highly recommend that if you are curious please watch those videos. You will love this guitar, I can’t seem to put it down. The feel of this is solid has a good weight. You probably would want to buy their guitar strap as well. It does slide around when you’re holding it in your lap. The strap they sell is perfect for this guitar , works better that other types of straps. The ends also clamp on so it won’t fall off

Guitar Still Defective After Repair - Extremely Disappointed!!!!
I had high hopes for the LAVA ME 4, especially at this price point (over $1,000). But shortly after receiving it, the guitar completely stopped turning on. I followed all support steps, and it was confirmed to be a battery/power issue. The company had me send it in for repair (under warranty), which took over a week—and I had to pay out of pocket for packaging. Unfortunately, when I received the guitar back, it was still completely unresponsive. I used the recommended charger and followed every instruction. Nothing worked. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience for such a premium product. I’ve now requested a full replacement, as the issue was not resolved despite a repair attempt. Buyer beware—if something goes wrong, you may not get the resolution you’d expect for a product in this price range.
