It's about time!
This does work! First, I am pre-diabetic. So, I do not depend on this but it is very helpful in watching my diet and exercise. To me based on what little bit i have done the pin prick and measured blood - this seems very accurate. I will say it again, it does work, and it is so convenient. However, there are some problems. The app that comes from Glucose Wizard is not very good. It's the bare minimum. This device actually measures your blood velocity, hemoglobin, heart rate, blood oxygen level, and blood glucose. I found a Chinese add on Ebay that sells the same device. They have a much better app that will measure the above. Their app has some problems too but it is much better. You will also see that the price is $200 less on Ebay. You just have to wait a month for it to come form China and it's a pain if there is something wrong with it. $200 is a lot though. Besides the issues with the apps - there are also some limitations with the device. The ambient temperature and humidity has to be with in limits or it will not work. I live in the North West by the coast and this will be a problem in the winter when the humidity is constantly 85% or more. I will have to get a DE-humidifier.Here is how it works:With the Chinese app you have to make an account - not sure why. You then have to enter your profile data - age, weight, and height. You need to turn on the device by pressing a button on the back for 3 seconds. You then press a "Test" tab on the app running on your phone. It will connect using Bluetooth to the device. You are then prompted to insert your finger. It takes about 60 seconds to do all the measurements listed above. The Chinese app then plots the data or show it in a list. You must wait 10 minutes before taking another measurement. If the humidity, temperature, or your finger temperature is not correct, it will error. On the Chinese site you can get a manual for this device too. Go to Ebay and search "prickless glucose meter".This is just awesome that you can finally get something like this in our country. The rest of the world has had something like this for years now. Even with its limitations I am very happy with the device. I have only had it now for about a week. I will update this if things change.I docked it a star because the apps are not ready especially the one from Glucose Wizard! I am a little bummed at the price difference between buying here on Amazon and off Ebay, but I decided I don't mind supporting the guy who brought it into the country and I like the safety of Amazon.Edit: June 4th:Glucose Wizard did update their app and it is much better, but still not there. One big issue with it versus the Chinese app is that the Chinese app will warn of humidity or temp issue and then proceed with the measurement. The Glucose Wizard just faults out and resets you back to the home screen. Then you have to wait 10 minutes before trying again. I really hope Glucose Wizard gets with the Chinese folks and works out their issues. Again, the Chinese app works so much better - and yet it has its own problems too.

Works great! but with about 10% error rate
Totally, I am happy for buying this product. The package arrived on time. The seller responded quickly to my emails. But, the package was torn from the bottom, and in the back of the instruction sheet there was something written like its being used as a note! as you see in the pictures. Now time to give some review about the actual device. The total device is working perfectly providing that you follow the instruction and the temperature and humidity of your place is in the desired range of the device. Also, your finger shouldn't be cold and to make it warm you could naturally warm it up by putting it near you neck pulse for about 30sec to 1 min. I compared it couple of times with the pricking blood test results, and usually the result of this device falls between maximum 7-10 units either higher or lower than the pricking test, which is okay to me. One thing about the app, I used "glucose wizard" which is recommended by the manufacturer , which for iphone every time I had to sign out from the account to let me run another test. For the Android, it doesn't recognize the phone in the bluetooth scanning step. So, I searched the net and I found that there is another app called "GlucoGenius" which works for this device too! This is an amazing app! no crashing, no sign out multiple times, no bluetooth error! Also, the results are shown as charts, you can also change the units, totally it is more user friendly than the company's app.I give it five star only because of the product which is really working. But, I hope the seller watch more for the packaging and component inside for the next customers!UPDATE:After five months of use, I am still happy for the purchase and the device is working great and near to actual blood glucose level.

Useless and returned
I purchased this device for my wife hoping to closely monitor her blood glucose level. After received the device, she has tried it for several days. The results were disappointed. The device gave incorrect readings each time when used it. For example, It read 90 ,230 ,292mg/dl when the finger prick reading was 110-120 mg/dl. It was useless and have to return back.

Excellent customer service!
Recently ordered the Glucose Wizard and it arrived, as promised! I think the design and ease of use is simply great - not to mention I can stop "pricking" myself several times a day! Additionally, while I was a little apprehensive at first when the system arrived with very few instructions, my fears were quickly erased after I sent a couple of questions to the "help desk" when Megan immediately got back with me! That is simply a "WOW!"

It worked accurately for me for all of August, now I am getting too wideca spread
I updated my rating and docked it two stars as it’s acting up lately. I am hoping I will start reading accurately again. It worked well for a month. I was very happy with this device when it mirrored my glucose blood tests.. And I really want to rely on it. I can use it without being shy anywhere. it’s just so much easier and nicer than drawing blood. I am now testing 6 + times a day instead of giving up.I actually bought it in Feb 2018 and was prepared to wait for the app. It had been working fairly accurately for me since the end of July when I pulled it out the closet again. I was not getting good results in May. I have to have it set to diabetes 1 for it to mirror my blood tests. I am predibetic. I do double check with blood draws to make sure it’s accurate Since using it I discovered I have very high blood glucose spikes right after eating, I did not pick this up drawing blood as I was waiting an 11/2 to 2 hours so to save test strips. My insulin production is dropping on a new drug so I need to make sure I don’t go too low now. I was really happy with how the glucose Wizard when It is working for me last month.I updstef my review on September 8,2018, I started getting too large a spread between my finger pricks and the GW. Not sure what is up. I hope it will come right again.
