Nice, sturdy set of titanium drill bits; the locking case is my dream come true
We have a loss problem in our household where pretty much every tool or piece of hardware gets lost at some point, typically to be found some days, weeks, or months later in an inexplicable location, but sometimes never to be seen again. And with things like drill bits, that effect is even more pronounced and occurs more quickly. As a result, I’d taken to buying cheap drill bits that get stripped on first use or break on the fourth or fifth use, and I’d recently been questioning my weighting of how much we’d value good quality parts versus how likely it is that we’d lose them within the first couple of days. It’s probably because I’ve always bought the bargain bin drill bitgs that I’ve only ever gotten them in those cheap plastic cases that break, just like the bits, within a few days of purchase. After that, my drill bits have always come tumbling out into whatever tool box or belt I’m using at that time, which no doubt is a huge part of why they all get lost. This product tempted me on two fronts. The obvious one of a locking case for the bits, and the titanium coated set that are advertised as being able to drill through nearly everything I ever want to drill through. And I am very happy to say that several weeks in, I not only still have every single bit (and they’re even in the proper places in the case!!), but I have also used them to drill in metal, something I’d attempted only once before with disastrous results. These bits made it seem like I was drilling through plywood, and they didn’t look even a bit worse for wear afterward. I’m thrilled, but I recognize that it may be my low level of expectations that led to this glowing review. Others who have more experience with really good bits may have a different take. But for casual DIY types, I think these are a downright bargain and are much better than bargain bin quality.

A great set of drill bits and screw driver set. Easy to use.
Kik Drill Bits and Screwdriver setMy husband’s collection of drill bits and screwdriver bits are scattered and disorganized. Seeing this see, it looked like a good replacement for a “do over” for his toolbox. The Good:• This is a “quick change” set, which is probably the handiest feature I’ve seen for bits and screwdriver sets. Put the adapter on the far left in the kit into your screwdriver. After that, all of the screw bits and drills just insert into the adapter. No more adjustments.• The rotating black collar around the adapter rotates as you are drilling. This means that you can hold onto that collar as you are drilling to get better accuracy. This is awesome. Instead of trying to direct the screw ot bit from the drill, you can guide it by holding the collar close to your work.• A good assortment of sizes of drills and bits.• The adapter fits my pink girlie Skil driver with no adjustments at all.• Great sturdy case that locks. It is also bright red to make it easier to find on the work bench. The Bad:• NothingThe “Could Be Better:”• NothingGRADESPrice: A -I got the 20 piece set. This is a great price for this set.Ease of use: A+ -Amazingly easy to use.Performance: A -We put together a project using two power drills. They both performed well with the bits and screws. No slips or problems. We have decided to give this set a place in the kitchen “handy drawer” because we plan to use it often. This is a great and fast bit and screw set.

Two bits broke in half first time used!
This product is made of cheap materials. The first time I used two of the bits they broke in half. I’ve had tap sets before and never had this problem.

Nice assortment of bits in a handy case.
Drill bits are an item most DYIers get too excited about until you need one and don’t have the right size. This kit has 13 bits ranging from 1/16” up to 1/4”. As you would expect, their length “matches” the bit diameter with the shortest ones for the smallest hole and the longest for the largest hole. The case has a space for each bit and it acts as a reminder to put the bit back in place after use. The part of the case that holds the bits pivots so the bits are vertical and east to remove/replace.Regarding the case, I expected a clip to hold the two sides together. I was wrong. There is a slide on the top of the case that holds the two sides together snuggly.I did “poke” a hole in a few pieces of wood and the bits performed flawlessly. I would expect no less from a new bit. I am hopeful that they will perform as well after extended use.For a DIYer, this set of bits should do the job and hopefully provide service for an extended time too.
