This is not for the faint of heart.You better read the instructions before you purchase this.And I watched the TransGo videos.No drilling or modifications to your transmission.There are several "levels" of firmness, and they explain it clearly in the instructions.I got mine dialed in for a firm, but not harsh shift, and I got my 2-3 shift up a little higher in the RPM range.This is a must kit for heavy trucks or suburbans.

This shift improver came with everything necessary to complete the installation aside from transmission fluid. My transmission had previously been modified with a B&M kit and questionable springs, as well as accumulators without springs. Follow the transgo instructions to the letter and you will not have any issues. This is the kit you want.

Great kit, wish it included some of the other springs that don’t need to be changed for performance as they’re pretty hard to track down now But can’t complain. Manual shifting reprogram works AWESOME for off-road. Don’t be afraid to set it up the most aggressive way possible, it drives comfortably. I used B&M trick shift fluid but may switch to type f to get a little bit of a snappier shift.

Works well on my 1974 transmission with "low" miles. Shift points are a little higher and firm but not harsh. Down shifts close to stick. I did not do any of the governor springs. Also changed vacuum modulator at same time. Very happy with results.

It says 69 and up which is false .the product is good but if you have a lockup unit dont buy this find the 350c kit.Now I own the wrong kit dont make the same mistake

usually transgo is my go to. this is a good kit but the orange competition spring would not fully insert into valve body. luckily I had one from a 1 2 kit from a previous install that did.
