Great leotard. Nice material and well made. It's lined so it's opaque even in the light pink color.My 9 year old is 4'7" and 85#, wearing size 10-12 in children's street clothes.I had the hardest time sizing her for a leopard. We started with kids size 10, 12, 14... None fit. Then tried women size XS which was still too tight. Finally she was happy with women's size S.If you are not sure and need a leotard right away, go to the store so you can find the fit your prefer.

Daughters needed one for dance hard to find teenage sizes. This worked perfect and has made it through lots of performances and still holding up

This simple design has become a favorite. It's the first thing I reach for to exercise or wear as a base layer. It's lightweight, transfers moisture readily, dries quickly and doesn't retain odors. The fit under the arms and around the torso could hardly be better if it was painted on. If your preference runs towards loose and baggy this probably isn't your cup of tea. If you're looking for something that becomes part of you then maybe this is something you'll like.I usually start with White. When it eventually gets dingy I get a package of dye and give it a new personality. Rit has an interesting web site ( [...] ) that explains a variety of techniques and color formulas. It's not hard to create something that you won't find anywhere else.I discovered that wearing one a size smaller is a helpful after-exercise measure for me when I've overdone it. It keeps sore muscles warm and I find the compression to be soothing. The T-neck version offers even more warmth and compression. It does take a little care and patience to get into (and out of) one that is a bit smaller than my size.I could wish that this was available without the lining. The last thing I want is an extra layer. I like that this can be worn without moisture-trapping layers underneath and having a built in layer of lining only slows the transfer of moisture. But a few careful minutes with a pair of scissors takes care of it and I end up with exactly what I want. Something that will dry out in minutes just from body heat, even when it's soaking wet.March 2013 update:Time has not diminished my opinion though I have found another product that I like better in some ways and not as much in others. The matte finish Lycra used in the Balera short sleeve has a smooth feel that I like. It also has more stretch, so much so that I moved down a size with the Balera.The construction of the Balera may not be quite as good but I've actually ripped more seams with the less forgiving Capezio.When I need the support of a tight fit with firmer fabric to ease a troubled back I go with the Capezio. When I don't it's usually the Balera. For me, the matte finish Lycra of the Balera is a bit more comfortable.

This leotard is a size too small and quite tight around my daughters legs. She’s 110 pounds and if I was going to order it again I’d get a medium rather than a small. Bear in mind this is nylon and a little sheer in back, lined in the front , the classic capezio short sleeve leotard is the same style and 90% cotton. That was the one we ordered instead, in medium and it fits great. Price is about the same, depends whether you like mostly cotton like a tee shirt or nylon like a swimming suit.

First let's do the good:- It fits nicely and tight which is what you'd expect of something that's meant to stretch with your body.- Color is a nice firm black. I've have Capezio leos before in this particular fabric and color so I can tell you for a fact that it did not stretch, fade, pill or in anyway deform. It actually keeps its form while getting somewhat softer without losing it's firmness. Also, it dries quickly.- it's very modest which for someone my age (36) is very welcome and for any dancer out there who needs to practice in front of others, Im sure it's an added bonus. It covers the hips, butt, chest and underarms. I don't feel it gets in the way of MY workout. Others might feel differently.- it doesn't ride up even with the tights on. Yay!!The bad:- It fits tightly around the underarms.- it's a little longer that I'd want on the hips. About a 1/4 of an inch. (not a really big deal, it's just a matter of looks. Im a bit anal)- the fabric is not as soft and organic as cotton would be, so be informed in case it's a deal breaker. Not for me.Ok, the "bad" listed above, is merely a list of observations to keep in mind when ordering. To me, they're not really issues but they might be for others. It does fit a bit tight but in it's defense, Im 1 year postpartum and still coming off the baby weight. Im 36 y/o, 5'8 and weigh 142 lbs. Im normally a size S so I decided to stick with it even though an M might be recommended. This was because I started this new routine which is making me drop the weight quite quickly and a bigger Leo in this fabric will chafe me and cause a bit of a tan burn on the seams area. (I have sensitive skin) As the weight comes off, that issue is resolved. Also, I like the tight feel, so it depend of personal tastes. In all, I'd recommend it. I will get another one like this except I'd like it with 3/4 sleeves.

This leotard is as I was hoping , it fits well, is a lovely blue colour, - I bought the blue and the black - it is a bit pricey, but it was shipped from the states who seem to charge the UK more than anyone else! A good buy for me.

Love the quality and thickness. Material is not see through, feels double lined. Only complaint is that the sizing chart isn’t entirely accurate. I’m 5”2 and 115 pounds for reference. I ordered a small and could barely fit in it. I’ve exchanged for a medium. I’d recommend sizing up!

Me quedó muy bien, tuve que pedir talla grande, normalmente mediana es mi talla pero lo sentía muy justo. Se amolda bien al cuerpo, es cómodo, resistente y muy bonito. De las mejores marcas que he comprado.

Just like the photo. I got the pink short sleeve leotard and it's so soft, comfy, lined, and true to size. I have a long torso so usually it's hard to nail the size on the first try but I did (I'm 5'7 132lbs and went with the Large). It's also really comfy on the bum and don't feel like I have to keep adjusting it while I'm in class. 10/10 recommend!

Not sure if this is for kids or adults, but based on the description in the ad it seems like adults... So that's why I ordered it for myself to wear today but it's way too small. And in terms of torso length that's short too. I would highly recommend ordering a size up. Colour is a nice white. The front material is decently thick. The sizing is totally off though. I'm 5'5" and about 125lbs. I should have ordered a M for this (I ordered a S).
