Works perfectly well on my Lenovo laptop. Sadly most laptops don’t have Ethernet anymore so this has helped me a ton to make sure I have a stable and fast connection and not rely on WiFi. Worth the money!

Tested and works as advertised on my smartphone Google Pixel 6a. When connected, to internet connection will change and say "Ethernet" as the connected network, just like it would on a PC. Like someone else suggested, i also turned on airplane mode and was still able to connect to the internet, so it does work as ethernet over usb-c on my device. My only problem is that is did not work for my intended use. I wanted a better connection to connect to my PS5 using Remote Play, but i still could not connect. But it connected to the internet just fine.

So I'm an idiot and thought that the ethernet cord would not lock into this adapter, so I tied the cords together in some jank way. But they DO CLICK TOGETHER! You just have to insert it VERY FIRMLY AND DEEP hehe. But actually, it does click in and works just fine on mac. Does get warm after extended use.

I originally had a unit with no charging port for my tablet. I purchased this unit with the port so the tablet battery will not discharge powering the adapter. This is super handy if you want to use a USB-C device without wireless for security reasons, or nowadays no device seems to have an ethernet port anymore. This just automatically starts up when you put it in the port. I don't have a powerful enough brick to check 100W on a laptop, but it charges a tablet well. This brand works well with or without the charging port.

Has worked well so far for its intended purpose. I'm in charge of setting up new laptops at work, which no longer have ethernet ports, so this is a handy device that allows me to connect via ethernet in situations where wifi doesn't cut it.
