Easy to use for anyone with an engineering degree
I lost the instructions that came with this "feature rich" device. I could not find a link to download a PDF version of the instructions. Many buttons and several functions for each button. I recorded myself giving a speech. Now cannot locate the file. Madness!! If you have an engineering degree, I am sure you can figure it out.

Good sound activation
Figuring out how it works required 15 minutes' review of the dauntingly long instructions and some experimentation, but once I learned how to use the device for simple sound-activated recording, no problems. One surprise was the radio function---cool! I may never use it, but on the other hand, it could be handy on trips.

Not a good recorder at all
Easy to use and great display. However, this recorder cannot record a normal level conversation between two people sitting at a normal size table. This is not a very good recorder. Would not recommend.

Nee a magnifying glass to read the instructions.
I purchased this for my wife to use like a tape recorder of old school. We figured out how to do it, but there's an awful lot of functions that for us. Were not needed.

It's all right, but it's fairly mediocre.
It's all right, but it's fairly mediocre. There would be a lot of static, and a lot of unnecessary noises picked up that I wouldn't want. This thing doesn't seem to have any noise canceling capability, and if it does, it's not true noise canceling capability. Anyway, nah.
