Unfortunately, I didn’t notice this was for a different model car than what I have. My SRX key fob is broken and I needed to replace it. The insides still work, but the case is held together with a rubber band. Since I already ordered this, I thought maybe I could use the new case with my old electronics. Unfortunately for me, the insides don’t match and my circuit board won’t fit. This is for a keyless ignition auto and has a spare door key inside. My old fob was for a keyed model. So the outside looks the same but the insides don’t. Since I can’t really review the the electronics (it does say to have the key programmed at the dealer), consider this a neutral review.

Good replacement fob
This worked great for our Cadillac CTS. My husband watched a few YouTube videos to clarify the procedure, and had it programmed to the car in minutes. The physical key is attached with a screw, so swapping my key for the blank was very easy as well. It’s great to have a fob that is not held together with a rubber band.
