Mott's Original Applesauce 24 Oz

I hate how difficult apple purée is to find in the UK . Having been unwell for a prolonged time and depleted my own frozen supply I was forced to turn to Amazon . To get Mott here was a treat . Fresh and bright tasting apple sauce with just a turn of the lid .

We used this as part of a seasoning for pulled pork on the bbq. Downside is the cost but its a decent size and should last a while.

If your expecting lumpy Apple sauce this isn’t it. It’s runny and smooth. Like baby food. Not terribly apply either. Wasn’t bad. Wouldn’t buy again though. Very sweet.

For whatever reason I can’t get applesauce in Ireland and mott’s makes a great applesauce.

How can they NOT have an equivalent to simple plain delicious apple sauce here in the UK??? I get a craving a couple of times a year for my American-style apple sauce. So it's well worth it to me.

Great quality & taste.

I like Mott’s applesauce to use for a couple of baking items I make. One is an easy fruitcake that is more like a spice cake & has no citron or liquor in it - just candied cherries, pineapple, nuts & applesauce (sliced thin & good with a smear of cream cheese). The other is an applesauce-raisin spice bar with a texture like a cake style brownie. Mott’s is perfect because the sauce is not too sweet for these two baked treats and I’ve never had a baking failure using this brand.

I've bought Mott's apple sauce before, and will continue to do so. The flavor is great--just what I expected.
