Be sure to buy litter boxes that clear the hinge on the floor. The product is particle board, so I put rubber litter traps on the entrance/exit tunnel and beneath the litter box. We have tile floors that show EVERYTHING, so I put a mat where they step onto the floor. I got the iKitchen stainless steel litter boxes off Amazon. Pricey, but better fits than the plastic ones. Sturdier and easier to clean too. Also got the rubber mats off Amazon. I trimmed one to fit the exit tunnel. Happy so far

If you have dogs that treat your litter box like their own personal charcuterie board, this is an awesome solution to keep them out of it! Also, it’s pretty and easy to vacuum out. Pro tip: Replace cushion top with a scratching board and it becomes dual purpose!

There were roughly 245934095830948653 pieces and a small novella worth of instructions to build this thing, but I do believe it will withstand hurricane force winds now that its complete! Kitty Beecher helped build it and immediately approved of its comfort. She has easy access and just enough privacy and light to do her business, the dogs can't get to the dirty litter for elevensies, and I can easily clean it out without a bunch of hassle. The only thing I would improve upon is putting the hook for the scoop holder on the inside (there's a predrilled hole on the outside) and making the cushion out of sturdier material, the murder mittens have done a number on it already!

I got this to keep my dogs from getting into the litter box and they have looked it over, but can’t get to the box. I have already gotten compliments on how nice it looks. The cats took to it right away. It holds my litter box which is a bit big with some room to spare where I have put a small deodorant chunk. The small enclosed compartment under the entry holds the bags I keep to get rid waste. I do suggest putting an absorbent pad under the litter box as the cats have peed over the edge of the box. The litter box slides right out for cleaning. I had no problems putting it together, the instructions were very clear.

I originally bought a different product to keep my puppy from getting her favorite “treats”. It did not work; she was still able to access her buffet.I went back on Amazon searching for something better, and I have found it! I initially thought it was going to be a nightmare to put together; only two boards were labeled. But, it turned out it was easy. It took maybe 45 minutes by myself to put it together. The cat took to it quickly, and best of all, the puppy is unable to access the litter box.

While one cat took to it at once, the others were suspicious and preferred the back yard and the backup litter box. They eventually got used to it and it does keep the dogs out of it. So it was worth it.

Took some time putting it together. It was somewhat complicated understanding the directions. But once I figured it out it became smooth sailing. I absolutely love it. My cats love it. It looks nice, hides the smell, keeps the dog out. I'm satisfied.
