I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

This animal catcher is great! Been using this to keep raccoons and possums out of my backyard. It’s easy to use and works great.

Kinda hard to set up but we looked at a YouTube video. This thing works very well, we wanted to catch a groundhog and caught a billion squirrels and an opossum in the process, and we also caught the groundhog. It's cool because it's no kill. Worth every penny. Also, it's like big enough to fit a groundhog which is pretty big. Although if you wanna catch a smarter animal than a squirrel you should put a tarp or towel on top of the cage

Easy to use and effective. Put bait right outside the nest and cough 3 squirrels that were destroying my house’s foundation.

The cage is folding so it’s portable. The raccoon outsmarted me the first night so I had to use gum to attach bait to the trigger mechanism. The raccoon just pushed the cage out of the way until I didn’t give it any other option. Grateful I was able to use a non harmful means to remove the pest from my garage since it was making a mess in there when it snuck in.

I would like to start off by saying, yes, it cought possums and also the coons we were after and even a few curious squirrels so the live traps work as they should, and ya get what you pay for which is a functioning live trap, but, oh there is a but, they are not dog proof, no we didn't catch a dog but our dog disassembled one to get the coon out of the trap, and the second trap was tore apart by a particularly large and very angry coon from the inside out, no it wasn't rabid, hell I would probably be a little mad if I got caught in a trap also, the trap did it's job and held the chicken slayer as it should have but is unusable now, these traps do what they should but are not really on the sturdy side, that being said again worth the cost if you can't afford a more expensive live trap, just hope your critter problem isn't as large or angry as our chicken slayers were. I had to bend the triggering mechanism a little. I trapped an Opossum the first night. I've also trapped rabbits. None were harmed.Up. It worked great until last night. Something want out. It bent the door escaping. It was probably a racoon. See the picture.

Just be patient! It took a little over a week but I was so pleased to be able to trap and relocate a pesky critter without harming it.The trap is sturdy and will save a ton of money instead of calling a pest control company who would end up killing it.

Work very well.
