Great product!
It worked for me luckily but, I wish it would have been more discriptive on what models it works on

Not universal
I bought these because non of the other adapters I had worked with my hood. I had a brand new hood & couldn't use it at work because I couldn't get my hard hat to fit with it. If you have a Miller hood, this will not work. Since they no longer make them, not many people should encounter this problem.

Got the job done.
I like wearing a hard hat for added protection. These worked with my MSA v-guard and my Ebay welding helmet. It mounted well to the hard hat but the holes on my welding helmet were too big. I used the holes on the side of the mount to add a additional machine screw and nut and it holds really well. I bet it works better for the name brand welding helmets.

Universal? Ha Ha Ha - yeah right.
this product says "Universal." they're not!. I have a cheap hard hat - the clips go in just fine. I have a nice Rhino $100 welding helmet. Not a chance working with that. The screw posts are no where near long enough. Sending this back today. (In case you're wondering, I occasionally make random purchases on my wife's amazon account. just for the record, she is not the hardhat welding type)

I see a lot of negative comments about the universal use with different welding hoods. This adapter is universal to ArcOne welding hoods to MSA hard hat. Not just any welding hood. Hopefully this product works on my actual ArcOne

NOT UNIVERSAL!!
This product doesn't fit any of my hard hats. And I have a few. I just threw away the money. It would be great if the seller would put what hard hat welding hood combination it fits.

miller welding hood
Its not universal. Its not made for miller welding hoods but i made it work, it a little sloppy when u tighten it down to much it doesnt want to flip up and down u have to play with it and try to find that spot, i yet still have to find it. I tighten it down and it seems to loosen its way still but iv had worse. It would prob work if i had a better hard hat.
