Big Chewy Candy, 6 Ounce, Pack of 12

Do you love the small Nerds candy? I do, and when my wife and I came across these while standing in line at another store, we thought we would give them a try. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but true to the Nerds family, they were tasty. They are a fun little treat to throw in your bag or car, and munch on while traveling somewhere. The larger box items are individually wrapped and small enough for stocking stuffers at Christmas, laying around at the office or throwing in your car. They differ from their smaller Nerds family box edition as they are chewy vs crunchy, but you can’t just have one (or one bag) 😂. This was one of the best tasting candies I have had in a long time. The perfect combination of chewey and crunchy and sweet and sour. The only complaint is that after eating more than a handful but less than a bag, my mouth started to burn. It took two days for me to be able to taste again and for the sores to heal up. Three of the four people that tried them had similar reactions. In small quantities they are very enjoyable. Will sadly not be purchasing again though. We like sour foods and love warheads and sour skittles etc with no problems.

It’s a great candy, I have been ordering this exact product for probably 2 years, love the tartness and the texture is great. Here’s the problem with my recent order, as mentioned in one other review besides mine, there are literally no purple ones AT ALL (as you can see in the picture), and they are one of the ones I actually like. Out of 12 bags not a single purple one. I don’t know if this is a factory mistake or if they for some reason discontinued the purple ones but it’s kinda weird that the color literally advertised on the front of the bag for the “crunchy outside, chewy inside” is the one color that’s not actually in the bag 😅. I can’t really get a refund because I had to open all of them to make sure it wasn’t just dumb luck and so now I just have to deal with having only 3 flavors with one of my two favorites being gone. Don’t know if this will help anyone in the future but just know if you like the purple ones, be warned, you may not get them if you order them around the time I’m writing this.

We love nerds and have gotten these several times but in the last few shipments, the whole bag is missing either reds or purples. What the honk? Wouldn’t mind missing yellows but reds and purples are the best

Let me preface this review by saying this is my absolute FAVORITE candy. It's very addictive and sweet/sour/crunchy/chewy all at the same time and I may or may not have eaten every bit of this within two days. It's getting a 3 star review for one reason alone: The price more than doubled in the last 2 days. That sucks. I would have ordered these once per week til I got the diabeetus for the price it was when I first ordered. For twice the price i just can't justify my gluttony.
