Smart looking and very useable!
This set looks great with it's smart combination of wood and dark containers.Looks a lot more expensive than it costs and this impression is confirmed with use: the bread bin is a good size, with no sharp edges & the accompanying jars are equally well made. One disappointing aspect is non of the jars are labelled. I guess you could learn what's inside from where you position them but a small discrete mark would work better!Does detract from the sets usefulness and possibly - depending on if & how you do label them - their attractiveness too!Nice set, which I probably wouldn't buy but will use.

Smart
Really disappointed after purchasing these to open them and notice none of the tins are named or even have a single letter to show you which tin has what inside. Would have sent back but ordered them to match my new Salter Toaster and Salter Kettle! So now whenever someone makes a hot drinks in my house they will have to open all 3 tins to get a teabag/coffee or sugar out which will be painful people asking everyone they make a drink which tin has what simply things like L/S/C on the tea is not much to ask surely especially when Salter is wrote on each tin.. unhappy customer. All the lids are very different browns although I appreciate wood is slightly different these looks odd.

Stylish but fiddly
I was initially very impressed with the Salter Toronto Canister Set. The matte black finish with the acacia wood lids looks fantastic on my kitchen counter, and it's a much more stylish option than my old plastic containers. The size is perfect for storing tea, coffee, and sugar, and they do seem to keep the contents fresh for longer. However, I've been quite disappointed with the durability. After only two days of use, the rubber seal around the lids seems to have degraded and no longer fits snugly. This means the lids don't create a proper seal anymore, and they feel a little loose when placed on the canisters. It's frustrating as it feels like the lids are slightly smaller now, making them a bit fiddly to use.Overall, the design is great, and the canisters themselves seem well-made. But the faulty lids are a real drawback, especially considering the price point. I'd recommend this set with reservations - if you find a good deal and don't mind potentially replacing the lids in the future, then they could be a good option. But if you're looking for a robust, long-lasting set of canisters, you might be better looking elsewhere.

Brilliant
Really great, love the black colour and wood combination. Looks really great in my kitchen. This is a nice looking bread bin.It is keeping everything fresh and is easy to clean. You can buy much cheaper stuff but it looks stylish with the rest of the Toronto collection of equipment.I may be “nitpicking” but it doesn’t have any soft feet to sit on but this was soon sorted with some stick on felt pads

Quite basic really
I mean these look nice enough, the quality is ok, but they are just very basic and not worth the price in my opinion. Pet peeve is the lack of labelling, Salter could at least include optional stickers to put on the canisters so that you know which canister contains what and especially so any guests do.Definitely don't feel these are a value purchase, but they are nice enough overall.

Large bread bin 😊
This arrives in branded box and is well packed.Plain black square containers with wooden lids they are simple but look great.I particularly like the bread bin it’s great size comfortably holding 2 loaves.Really nice set that well made and reasonably priced

Attractive tin
This is a good sized bread bin (could be used for other storage too). The tin body is fairly thin but it's sturdy. It has an embossed logo at the bottom that's not very noticeable. There's a seam on one side. The Acacia wood lid is really nice. Smooth, warm and nicely finished. It has a thin silicone ring around it to provide an airtight seal. However, it is quite tight fitting and needs 2 hands to remove - I'd have liked it to either be slightly looser or have a handle to lift it off.
