Comfortable & Classy
I was looking for a comfortable, quality nylon watch strap for my new Sea-Gull Ocean Star 200M Diver, to replace its luxurious but heavy weight link bracelet for everyday use. I have tried at least a dozen other brands of NATO, Zulu, Ballistic Nylon, Two-Piece, etc., etc., before I decided to try this strap. To cut to the chase, this Archer Seat Belt Nylon NATO style has now moved to the TOP of the list as my personal favorite. Because of the softer finish material, it is hands-down the most comfortable. Period. Add in the deep black, fine graining and the elegantly finished matte black buckle & retainers, and you have a superb package.Full Disclosure: I have modified the strap by removing the standard NATO short half-strap, for a cleaner, less bulky look, and trimmed the total length using a method found on YouTube, so the cut ends are neatly heat-sealed, while retaining the strap’s security feature should a spring bar become broken/pulled loose.Overall, This is now my “grail” of nylon watch straps - it’s a pleasure to wear, light weight and projects a classy, high quality look that complements my elegant tool watch. Very pleased and will re-buy.UPDATE: Have been evaluating some other versions of the “softer” Seat Belt material watch straps since writing this review, and the most common complaint on this type of strap material is that the punched holes start to stretch out after being exposed to the tension from the clasp tongue. I have also noticed this fault on the Archer strap after a few day of normal use with no exposure to water or abnormal stretching - not terrible, but concerning that its long term usability might be impacted. I’m still totally in love with this strap material, so am trying an experiment, using a small propane grill lighter with a tiny “ blow-torch” type pointed flame to “heat treat” several of the stretched holes after pressing thrm back into correct position. I did this to both front and back around only three of the holes to “toughen” them up, applying only the tip of the flame for maybe half a second at each hole, pressing the warm material flat, then applying the flame again, flattening again. So far, this seems to have improved the stretching issue, but I will update this note after another week to report results. I am attaching a photo of two of the “heat-treated” holes in use. Cosmetic appearance has not been impacted so far.I am reducing my rating to 4-stars because of this issue. I’d be interested in hearing from Archer on their thoughts...it’s NOT a deal breaker for me, but it seems some minor & inexpensive product improvements might make Archer the hands-down market leader. Stay tuned.UPDATE #2: After 30 days, wearing the strap daily for a variety of activities, plus wearing at night, my “ heat treated” holes are still in good shape - I did re-treat two of them two harden them just a bit more, and that seems to be holding up OK. I do normally shift strap holes 2-3 times daily to adjust for wrist swelling/contraction - if you don’t have this issue, you could just treat one hole and leave the rest alone. Still the most confortable nylon strap I’ve encountered, and I have a drawer full. Leaving my rating at four stars, and hoping Archer finds a way to harden the holes unobtrusively during the mfg. process, but would still rebuy.MFGR SUGGESTION: Consider making this strap as a “2-Piece”...some watch wearers like to be able to see their watch back when they take it off their wrist, or don’t like the bulk of the extra folded-over strap length of the NATO style.

:(
I’ve had this about 1 month and I haven’t even worn this every day.I don’t think this weave is well-suited for use as a watch band. There is fraying around the holes and the band is stretching and warping around the hole where the buckle tongue goes through.Quality by the manufacturer is as good as one can expect, but the material is just not the best for this application. Better to go with a regular NATO band.

not strong
comfortable but not durable, hole tearing out after one month and needs replacing.

I do not recommend wearing this strap to sports & activities
I got the Bond strap with stainless hardware. Alongside this Nato I also purchased (4) different Nato products from other Amazon dealers. The Archer strap was the most expensive but it also looked the part. The weave has a sheen, do not attract dust (another black cotton / canvas based materials did), and is silky to the touch, never pricked. The product matched the pictures advertised. The longevity is, however, in question. The hole is stretched but not unreasonably. I think a lot of this has to do with the weight of the watch case and the material itself. I do not recommend wearing this strap to sports & activities, but it does look good next to a button-down shirt sleeve.

Watch strap.
The watch strap however good looking isn't as sturdy as I would have thought. I have used the strap for only a week or two and the hole that I use to set the strap is ripping already. Now I would have thought the fact is was a seat belt material would have made it stronger.I am disappointed with the purchase as the band wasn't inexpensive.

Not for active people
Material this band is made out of doesn't have the strength around the clasp pin to hold its size, basically the band slowly gets larger as the pin tears through the band, eventually jumping to the next size larger hole. This happened over the course of 2 weeks maybe.

Solid
A little pricey compared to the other nato straps on Amazing, but this one doesn't need to be broken in as it's already soft. Been wearing it every day for a week with no issues. Really amps up my casio. I'll update this if any issues arise, but it has been solid and the build quality seems very high.

Nice Strap!
Great NATO-style strap. Strap material is a “seatbelt” weave and seems like it’ll be very durable. Not too thick, seems fairly supple, definitely very comfortable. The hardware is nicely made and finished. The cut edges of the material are nicely cut and finished, and the stitching looks great, too. That’s about all I have to say—I’m quite happy with it!(It would be nice to see a greater selection of colors.)
