Not hard to put up, went well in the dark. Rain fly is bulky but good to cover you and others. hummock is roomy for someone six foot or so. Easy to double stack hammocks with the rain fly. Haven’t used the bug net yet but does look pretty decent.“Good quality, comfortable, dry”

This is actually quite a nice hammock for the money. It comes with everything you need to set it up quickly (2 carabiners, 2 1" wide tree straps, 2 stringers) and start lounging in comfort. It has triple stitching on the body seams, and double stitching on the seams where the bug net attaches to the hammock. Yes, it has a bug net! You can lie in it, like any other hammock, OR you can flip it over and use it with the attached net. It includes two stringer lines to let you raise the net above you. The net has a double zipper, on one side of the hammock, and is permanently stitched to the opposite side, allowing entry from the one side. I haven't tested it, yet, but the size of the netting looks to be small enough to keep out most all of the bugs that might annoy/bite you.It also has two pockets. One large pocket (that is actually the carry bag) on the outside, that is large enough to stash maybe three 1 liter water bottles, or items of equivalent size, and one smaller pocket, inside the bug net, that is big enough for a phone, a single 1 liter water bottle, or any smaller items. The only downside, for me, is that I mistakenly ordered the single size (55" wide) hammock, instead of the double size. I am just under 5'8" and I really wish I had ordered correctly. While I AM able to lie at an angle across the width of the hammock, I feel that the double size would allow me to lie a little flatter and more comfortably. Again, this is my own fault for not paying attention when I placed the order. If you're shorter than 5'8", the single width may be fine for you. Just my personal preference.Also, I don't feel that this single width hammock would leave you enough room to comfortably use with a sleeping pad. You might be better off with the double wide for that. Other than that, this is a rather nice hammock. It feels sturdy, looks nice, and is WAY more comfortable to lie in, than not. Especially when you can lie in the shade, gently swinging in the breeze!If you're looking for your first hammock, or simply a decent quality hammock at a low price, I don't think you could go wrong with this one.EDIT: With regard to my comments about the width of the hammock and my own, personal comfort - after using this hammock EVERY DAY since my review, I have absolutely gotten used to the size and have made adjustment to the angle at which I hang it. I now have no problem lying in this hammock for hours on end, in absolute comfort.EDIT - 6/18/22 - Have probably used this hammock 200+ times and it is still in great shape. No rips, no tears, no seams coming apart. It's still as comfortable as ever.EDIT - 7/15/23 - This thing is a tank! 3 years on and this hammock is still truckin' with no signs of weakness.EDIT - 10/3/24 - Well, it finally happened. I forgot my hammock at a camp spot and lost the little guy.It had finally developed a small hole near the top of the stuff sack, but that was the only real wear it sustained.No worries. I loved it so much that I got me a brand new one! Even bought one for a friend!

Really nice hammock for stealth camping, only downside was that it can be a little restrictive when lounging and reading a book, compared to a Hennessy with its asymetrical setup with the side suspension points. Space for reading is small, but I slept well. Love the straps and carabina system, that was fast to setup. Other parts could use clips too, I did tie many knots to fasten the rainfly to trees, really should already have the ropes attached. But the shape was good, could cover well from rain.

I bought it because I was going camping a few days later and my nieces and nephews had a hay day at one point there was 5 kids and myself sitting in it and it didn’t budge. It’s easy to figure out and easy to manage

Light weight. Survived its first use with flying colors. Very ergonomic. Folds down to impressively small size . Almost everything you need comes included. I highly recommend buying some extra cord for tie downs. In case you want to attach tarp more securely or at tree that is bit farther away. Size is as expected and advertised. You probably not going to fit 2 people in their 2 people model of this hummock. How ever for a single person that is my size it’s going to be spacious as hell. I am 6’2”. 250 pounds.I am happy with my purchase.

So me and my brother who went out camping and want both of us slipped over the thing and it was very hard and predicament because the match system was all around us and we both put holes in them I grabbed a tube from a tire a bike tire and we're home at the time so we use staples and staple it back into with the tire oh I mean tube but overall it was a good experience the quality was good setting up was easy the backpacking was good but the mesh is just really easy to break you just have to be careful make sure you bring something just in case if you go over but overall it was nice comfortable and this is a basic hammock but if you're looking for a top to your hammock don't think this is for you but for the price and you want to know if you're going to like him again this is definitely a good one to see if you're going to like hammocks anyway but if you don't like this then you're not really going to be into hammocks go for a tent

Gets 4 stars! The design is flawed a bit for buggy areas as the mosquitoes can of course bite through the bottom. But if your only dealing with moderate to light bugs it's a decent hammock. Bring a thick wool blanket that bugs can't bite through for the inside, then your air mattress over that and you'll be fine. Overall for its use, it's a decent hammock and large enough for me with my 6'2, 245 lb body. I would recommend it overall.
