The media could not be loaded. I was looking for an electric fireplace to give some character and warmth our master bedroom. After reading many reviews, I settled on this one. It was relatively easy to assemble, but the insert didn’t fit in flush with the mantle right away. We had to work that out a few times before we got it to be how it should. We also added a 7 inch platform to the bottom to raise the height a bit.We used the crystals and they look very chic. Remote works great. I won’t use all the color settings, but they are fun if that’s what you’re looking for. Great size for a small space. Haven’t used the heating element and not sure I will, but aesthetically it far exceeds my expectations!

After figuring out how to get around the issue of not being square, Those who see it comment on how nice it looks. I am glad I didn't have to insert it and go through the hassle of building around it. My only complaint is that I wish to keep the heater on and turn off the light when sleeping since this is in my bedroom. I am leaving the text of my previous review intact.--------------------I bought a 40-inch with a mantle, and let me tell you that the mantle could be a better fit for the heater. Here are a few installation tips: Don't attach the top until you fit the heater in and put the glass over it; you may have to disassemble parts of the bottom frame to fit the glass. Many times during the assembly, I wanted to return this product, but boxing both parts deterred me.The flame is unrealistic but not ugly, and my 12-week-old kitten likes it. The price seemed good, and I thought it would be a decent heater for my bedroom. I ordered the mantle because I didn't want to hire someone to install it, and I am not personally young enough, physically strong enough, or handy-sufficient to cut the wall, build a frame, fix the sheetrock, etc. Another big issue with the design is that the flame light will not turn off independently from the heater. If the heater is on, so is the fake flame, and for a bedroom, that is not a logical design.Finally, the remote I received only works sometimes, and dimming or increasing the light is impossible. I have contacted the seller and will let you know if they try to resolve the issue.

I’m happy with my overall purchase. BUT I’m glad I read a review saying to not assemble the top until you place the heater panel inside the frame. For one my order was shipped separately and I was so excited, I received the frame first. So I just built it thinking I was going to just slide the heater panel in and be done. NOPE 4 days later I received the heater panel and got ready to slide it in and boom it didn’t fit. So I read the instructions over and seen I did everything right. I checked the reviews and that’s when I seen to remove the top mantle first. THEN I had to drill holes in the front 2 panels to make it stay and it didn’t come pre drilled like the rest of the wood. Then I squished my finger trying to squeeze the frame into place. After a good 45 mins struggle, it worked out and I like it for my Christmas room

Great fireplace! Was pleasantly surprised with the quality at this price point. Lights and logs are pretty, many color options. Like the ability to change from logs to glass rocks. Puts out good heat. Easy to put together. Super pleased with this purchase and highly recommend. The only thing that would make it perfect is fire crackling sounds. I just put an Echo Dot on the mantel and ask Alexa to play campfire sounds ;) as a solution.

We live in a house that heats the guest room easily but not our master suite. We decided to try the electric fireplace as a heat source in the winter. We agreed it would be a Christmas present to each of us. We rearranged the bedroom to make space and assembled it easily, despite our being in our 70’s.Well, we are amazed at how much we are enjoying the electronic fireplace and how cozy the heater function is.The directions to assemble and operate have been very clear and easy to understand. We are very happy we did this.
