This is a great book light. Its compact and I'm very pleased with how bright it is. It has 3 different lighting effects and a brightness button. Plus, the light swivels to cover both pages. Great product. Will buy another one.

If you search reviews for a great book light, the glocusent seems to make the top-5 lists more often whereas this 86lux goes unmentioned. I bought both to compare and in my view, the 86lux is the better option of the two for these reasons: - usb-c charging is modern and ubiquitous compared to a male usb-a plug - the warm setting at 2700K is much more pleasant than the orange-toned 1800K (which is quite unnatural) - 3 brightness levels is simpler to use than cycling through 5 - metal book clip as opposed to plastic - thinner and sleeker It's not perfect and there are a few minor things that could be improved: an increase in beam width would be appreciated for books larger than paperback novels (it's not quite as wide as depicted in some of the promotional pics), and a separate on/off button would be nice to have for convenience (it's currently bundled with the light color modes and you have to cycle through a total of 4 before it turns off again). Minor nits. Overall a wonderful book light that is underrated.

This little light is great. I use it at night when I want to read in bed and not disturb my wife. It may be a little light but don't look directly into it. You'll be seeing spots for a while. It seems to hold a charge for a long time. I have only charged it once since I received it. I like the the light can be rotated swindled up and down. Plus the three different light settings.

Love this little light! Works perfect for late night reading without disrupting my husband while he sleeps next to me. The three different light functions are nice and all have adjustable dimness. I also enjoy how you can rotate the light head itself. I’ve used it for a couple nights now and still have not had to charge it so battery life is an improvement from my last light I was using that needed daily charging. And the size is perfect just being able to slip right on a book so using a stand or not it’s very convenient with how sturdy it stays once clipped in. Any book lover would appreciate!

I have enjoyed using this light so far. The brightness settings are decent. The size is perfect for traveling. I have had to charge it a little after 30 hours though. When I charged it, the back got really hot, which is worrisome with little kids running around.

One of the best purchases I’ve made! I bought the book light because my bed side table lamp it’s so dim that I have to use the ceiling light, which is far away and casting light from the back of the book. So, to summarize, I needed a book light that would be compact enough and bright enough for me to use it and to not need the additional lights in the room to read. Well this book light has done that and more. I’ve used it for the last week every day and it’s still going strong. The three dim settings are a plus and although I’ve only used the brighter settings, it’s still pretty bright after a full week’s worth of use. Additionally, it’s compact, sturdy, and small enough for travel. I stashed it in a side pocket of my backpack and went through the x-ray and security checkpoint machines at the airport with no problem. Came out safe and undamaged. If you need a good and reliable book light that is compact, and well made, this is the item for you.

This little book light is absolutely the best invention in a long time! Small, thin, and points in any direction. Great for a small flashlight, too. Totally recommended.
