Kitsch Purple Shampoo & Conditioner Bar for Color Treated & Grey and white Hair, Made in Us, Toning Bar Shampoo & Conditioner for Blonde

Currently traveling throughout Spain, and I am so glad to have purchased this product!Simply saturate your hair with water then lightly stole the shampoo bar (S = dark purple) from front to back of the scalp in sections (5 on the left - 4 on the right and 1 down the middle). No need to put product on the middle or ends of long hair because after massaging it into the scalp the shampoo goes onto the rest of your tresses. Rinse then repeat process using the conditioner bar (C=light purple). My hair is waist length but it only took about 3 strokes extra of using conditioner on the longer pieces of my hair.Note: if your hair has a lot of other products on it you will need to do two washes. The first will not lather but the second wash will lather up nicely,I was surprised how soft and shiny my hair was when it dried and with very little to no frizz. My wavy hair even curled and bounced nicely! The conditioner also served as a detangler which was a bonus especially since I was exposed to 3 days of high winds.Note: Upon second use the conditioner does start to get soft. That said, keep the bar dry out of the bathroom that has a tendency to have moisture, handle with care and run lightly thru palm of hands.Overall, I love this product, and it will be a mainstay even when I return to the states. Use it right and you, too, will love it and your hair!Last image is of bars at second use.

Having tried other bar shampoos, I did not have high hopes for this product. Holy moly!!! This shampoo is fantastic. I have waist length hair and it cleaned without drying my hair out, but my hair doesn’t feel greasy from the conditioner bar either. My hair feels very clean very soft And very moisturized. I love this shampoo and conditioner.

Both have a great scent. The shampoo lathers so well with just 3-4 strokes on my hair. I use it just on my head, not all the way down the length of my hair (which is long) and it lathers enough to clean the ends. When I rubbed the conditioner bar on my head, it made my hair greasy even after rinsing well. So now, I rub the bar twice on the ends of my hair then put a little on my hand for the scalp. Just that little bit conditions well and I am not left with greasy hair.

I really wanted to give these bars five stars. I bought the purple set for my gray hair and ran in to the same problem I always have with purple hair products. The smell!!! It’s so strong. I am assuming that’s due to the “purple process” but dang…it’s yucky. I suppose it might be pleasant for some people but for me, natural, milder scents are better.With that said, this shampoo is amazing. My gray hair loves it. I love the lather and the conditioner is luxurious. My hair is so finicky now that it’s silver and I am loving the purple bar route. I also love to take these when I travel, so convenient! I will definitely purchase these again (although I will probably complain about the scent the entire duration of the bar).

Have tried the rice water shampoo and coconut oil conditioner. Really liked it but then discovered they have the purple shampoo which I need for my silver hair.I’m using it now and love both shampoo and conditioner. I’ll purchase it again for sure. Leaves hair so soft and silky. Great smell too. Starting to get use to using the bar of shampoo and conditioner. Takes a little getting use to.

First let me say the scent is amazing! The value is great also. I’ve had the bar for a while and it’s barely shrunk. I did some research on these and decided to start with this brand first. I have a lot of thick silver/gray hair. Silver and White in the front, bangs especially that I need the purple shampoo for, it keep the ends from turning yellow…right now I can almost pass for a blonde so I’d say it failed there. With our hard water it is very, very hard to get a lather which caused hair loss for me. At my parent’s house who had a water softener it wasn’t an issue.I also normally wash my hair every 2-3 days but with this shampoo I definitely had to do 2. The conditioner bar is a laugh on my thick hair sadly. It just did nothing. I had to go back to my old one otherwise I would have frizz from the other world for days. I’m sorry to say this one just does not work for my gray hair. I wanted it to help with my loss that I’ve been having but with the inability to lather and having to “paint” it on, it was just too much. Plus the purple tone did not help with the brassiness. I will have to look elsewhere.

I love these products. Both the shampoo and cream rinse bars have made my hair so much softer and fuller. Plus my hair is growing again. The curl I used to have is back, and I have a bounce in my hair again.

Easy to use , lathers nicely definitely need soap dishes. Fells like it leaves residue in your hair but when dry don't feel it weighs it down , but maybe appearance of thicker hair but a nice clean feel. The Purple does a decent job of calming yellow or brassiness . 4 stars because I dont like pre drying residue feel . The Conditioner , not a fan , but again ok once dry , I blow dry . This is an item you have to decide yourself.
