Öjbro Swedish made 100% Merino Wool Soft Thick & Extremely Warm Mittens (as Featured by the Raynauds Assn)

I have Raynaud's and searched high and low for gloves or mittens to take on a winter trip to Iceland. I didn't care the cost if they would deliver. After reading all the reviews I thought these would be the answer. I measured my hand twice and I am squarely a medium by the size chart. So I ordered a medium. When they arrived just in time for my trip, I realized they were BIG, like Clown Sized Big. But it was too late do anything, so I took my medium sized clown mittens to Iceland in December. In general they were okay, but not enough on their own to prevent the dreaded Raynaud's finger tip freeze. When I added a pair of Hot Hands to the mittens they were just fine, but not on their own. The wind goes right through them as well. I suspect these will be adequate on a normal cold day (I live in D.C.). I'd love to switch to a pair of smalls, but i'm not spending another $100 to try them out.

I bought these mittens as a Christmas gift for my sister who always has cold hands. She suffers from Raynaud's syndrome so she has a hard time keeping her hands warm especially in winter. She absolutely loves them. She says they keep her fingers toasty warm. I especially loved how they were packaged by the seller. Lots of little extras in the bag .

These are not just any mittens, each one is truly a work of art! Beautifully done. I knit and I know how incredibly well done these mittens are. They are knitted for maximum warmth and beauty with the inside of the mitten lined with the softest of fabrics. I started with an order for one and have now ordered two more for my family. Although the price may seem a bit high at first, the quality of these mittens make it well worth it. The pride and care of the people who make and sell these mittens is evident in the lovely packaging and personally hand written note of thanks that come with every purchase - and a surprise little Swedish treat too! They make the purchasing experience feel like you just went to your favorite local mitten shop and were treated like "one of the family". Love these mittens, the knitters and the people who get them to you!!

I ordered these mittens, as they were "free returns" if they didn't work for me, and then removed a few tags and wore them on a walk outside. It was a pretty long walk, and a really cold day (for southeast Michigan), and my hands were sweating like crazy. Super inconvenient to have to take the gloves off to cool my hands down and let the sweat dry a bit before putting them back on. It was miserable to wear them and not enjoyable at all! They are beautiful gloves, and I wanted to like them, but it doesn't get cold enough around here (-0 F might be good for these kind of gloves) so I don't know how I'm going to be able to use these :( Anyway, I tried to go through the return process, but the seller says that they can only be returned if they have the tags on and are in "new" condition.. if you try to return them in any other condition, they could send them right back to you. Very disappointed. Going to have to figure out what to do with these gloves that I spent a lot of money on...

Where to start. First the packaging. It couldn't be cuter. Then the story about the mittens and the handwritten note with a piece of yummy chocolate. And most important of all are the mittens themselves. I love the pattern and they are so warm. I like that they're lined because not only does it add to the warmth but keeps them from being itchy. You can wash them by hand in cold water and who doesn't love that. I love them so much that I bought another pair in a different pattern. I got the medium and they fit just right but I did measure my hand first. I can't say enough good things about them--they're excellent.

I love the quality and the design, but when I saw them, I thought they are like a shovel. Way too big. I got the size L because my fingers are long (the middle one is maybe 4 inches). And normally this is my size on gloves. But on these, I got one more inch left, and the width was big too. I would say that this is men size, so if you want these gloves, go one or even 2 sizes down, and that is in case if you also have thick hands.

I absolutely love these! They arrived beautifully packaged direct from Ojbro. They are beautifully made lovely colours and warm. They have such lovely patterns I felt tempted to buy more but I only purchased two sets this time around. I would highly recommend them.

I chose the mittens as a Christmas present for my Mother who has a "cold hand disease." I picked them because they're the only ones I could find that were 100% Merino Wool. I'm so glad that I got them because they're extremely well made and warm; theyre thick, but not bulky. The customer service was impeccable from "The Sweater Chalet); there were Christmas stickers on the outside of the envelope and a heartfelt hand written thank you card. I would highly recommend these mittens to anyone who wants to protect their hands from the cold and support a great company.

die Lieferung erfolgte viel schneller als angegeben... die Handschuhe passen sehr gut, laut Größenangaben habe ich eine M bestelltsie sehen auch sehr hübsch aus, da möchte man gleich zum Winterurlaub nach Schweden

Update: Leider hat meine Mutter selbst bei +8 Grad kalte Hälte in diesen Handschuhen. Das kann echt nicht sein das diese als extrem warm angepriesen werden.Wunderschöne, warme Handschuhe. Ob ich sie nun als extrem warm bezeichnen kann, wird sich noch zeigen. Jedenfalls werden die Hände meiner Mutter warm. Bisher konnte sie die Handschuhe allerdings auch noch nicht bei Minus Temperaturen testen.

Tatsächlich habe ich noch nie eine Produktrezension geschrieben. In diesem Fall bin ich jedoch so begeistert - sowohl von dem Produkt, als auch vom Verkäufer - dass ich einfach nicht anders kann.Die Fäustlinge kamen gut verpackt bei mir an. Das Öffnen des Pakets war die pure Freude. Auf der Rechnung befand sich ein handschriftliches Dankeschön des Verkäufers. Was ich nicht wusste: zu jedem von Designerin Äse entworfenen Muster gibt es eine kleine Geschichte. Meiner Bestellung lag, neben einem Prospekt mit allen Muster-Geschichten, auch noch ein schwedischer Schokoriegel bei.Die Fäustlinge selbst sind unglaublich warm und weich, das Muster perfekt gearbeitet. Sie machen einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Ich bin sicher meine Mutter, der ich die Fäustlinge geschenkt habe, wird sehr lange Freude daran haben.Definitiv kann ich hier eine Kaufempfehlung aussprechen!

Yes! Finally a product that really adds up to its name. Hey - its -27 in my city with wind chill of -33 today and these mitts are uber warm. Extremely happy with them.
