I needed a dress for a fancy dress party we were attending, and we had decided on 1920 theme.I was put off by reviews of "flapper" dresses and when I saw this one, saw that others had been happy with the purchase.The item arrived in good time, however needed a good iron. The bodice is made from stretchy material, quite thin and leaves black fluff all over you. There is a strip of elastic sewn up the bodice front, which i had to remove from the bottom, as it had been pulled too tight and pulled the dress into a strange shape.The skirt is lovely and floaty, however the front bit is really short, so you need to take care as you may expose more than intended. I am a 14/16 and this was to fit 16/18 but I found it really tight, especially under the arms. Seams are not sewn too well, so am a bit wary of it coming apart during the night. For the price I would have liked better quality.The hat is a no no. It is small, does not stay on head and is now in the bin. Even my daughter could not get it to stay on or sit correctly.For a one off its okay, but if I had more time, I would have returned and bought a proper dress.

You don’t get what you pay for. Poorly made and just looks a bit rubbish really. I ended up buying an evening dress from an online retailer for the same price but I’ll be able to use that one again!

Just awful sizing ridiculously small, hat does not even fit on my head, terrible quality could feel it ripping as I tried it on. Don’t waste your money. Will be returning.

Quite good for a fancy dress costume however much shorter than the image would suggest. They must have used a very short model. The hat is very small.
