Almost as good as lego!
The pieces hold together well, no pieces were missing, the instructions are clear, and the end result is great! For the price, I paid 45 dollars, it's very difficult to beat for the amount of bricks and the quality.

Missing pieces substituted with neon colors, not as structural as it could be.
Nice looking display piece, but a lot of the construction isn't as structural as it could be so it may not play well if you are buying for a child. It also has a few dozen round dots that should be a light nougat/brown color but were substituted with a neon orange color piece that stands out and looks terrible. The quality of the bricks is mostly good. Pieces of the tree don't quite line up as nicely as they could. This is almost a nice set, but it misses the mark. The sale price was worth buying for the number of pieces. I wouldn't pay full price for this set tho.

high detail, standard size pieces, large instructions, numbered bags, possibly part of a series
It's just covered in details, you can probably tell that from the product image, but the layers of dimension framing all those details is something you have to build to see.Uses standard size (Lego size) pieces.Assembly had various fragile points due to the pitched angle snot techniques used at the roof. Tree also likes to break due to all the single stud adornment and generally just a design that doesn't like to be pressed into from any angle (despite needing to be built as such).Large instruction booklet that uses greyscaling of exist pieces to denote location of pieces in current step. Format is pretty compact but at a print scale and a camera angle that captures what needs be seen.Numbered bags corresponding with the phases of assembly, noted in the instructions.I'm pretty sure this kit is part of a series of at least 3 medieval architecture kits, and I believe they are modular city street style as well. The other kits I've found that match this one are Medieval Blacksmith 033031 and Medieval Tavern 033033. Based on how this kit went I've added those other two to my wishlist.

Honestly, there's times where simplification is smart.
Packaging : the set comes in a well decorated box containing numbered bags (1-3) and instructions.Instructions : The instructions are clear and easy to follow.Parts quality : The parts are of a universally good quality in terms of fit and finish.Set design : The set is intricately designed to a fault, with lots of really good detail throughout. Several truly unique building techniques and parts choices exist, including a few that I was truly surprised by - I am not used to minifig hip elements or legs being used as part of a building, but they are.Overall thoughts ... 'to a fault' is where the problem lies. The complexity removes a lot of stability from the build that simpler techniques might have avoided. This is especially noteworthy in the incredibly unstable and fragile roof and the tree that I finally opted to just leave 'chopped down' instead of trying to build it. I can think of several techniques that could have been used to preserve the visual effect while actually making these elements stable, but alas. Not going to call it a bad build, but be ready for a lot of headaches as you get closer to the finish line.

Fun, but be aware...
I thoughly enjoyed this product. I would rate 5 of 5 except for several issues that I will detail below.1. First time I ordered item, I could tell there would be problems. While box was undamaged, I could see a number of damaged bricks. I replaced this item and the second one did not have this issue.2. Item is VERY challenging, well above the 6 year old recommended age. This item has 4 colors that can be mistaken for each other in the construction manual. This requires a LOT of extra work because of this.3.Manual is impossible to follow 100%. There are at least 2 occasions the manual shows 1 thing that is physically impossible to do so builder will have to improvise a solution. In my case, I was able to work around 1 issue with existing parts, but, 2nd required me to use a broken piece from the first set and a knife to construct a nonexistant part.So buyer be aware that extra work may be needed.I plan to order from this company again. I thoroughly enjoyed building this kit. I only wish I could rate it higher.
