Nice small size unit
Used this to convert my govee in ground lights to operate with Wled. The controller is easy to install.

Easy to start WLED hardware
These are very useful practical automation tools. You basically just connect your LED strips to these and then you can automate your lights using different methods. The first one is this has it's own web based UI. You just need to find the local IP of the device, which you can do by checking your router/modem/firewall or you can run an IP scan tool (there are many free IP/port scanners out there) Then you just open the address in your browser such as http://192.168.x.y (x and y would also be 2 numbers) then you can use the UI to set different animations, different color schemes etc. It supports schedules and it even gets the correct date/time from ntp servers (the device itself does not have an RTC with a battery so when it is disconnected it needs to read current date time from an internet time server) It also is very easily integrated to home assistant. Bear in mind, this particular brand is not the only one as these run the same open source project called WLED. So they all are more or less the same on software side. However you may want to check power levels for different applications as that differs from hardware to hardware.

I want more
Wife is so happy that we have year around lights on our house. Super easy to use tons of lighting options and now it’s hooked up to a PIR sensor. So my lights act like security lights! Will be buying more

Convenient Controller
This controller makes it easier to control WLED lights rather than the raw ESP32 board. I used it for Christmas LED lights outside, but the controller was in a wet-box to stay dry. Worked very well for me.

Works with Alexa and Wled
The app is “Wled native” and it works with Alexa. I had some trouble with connecting to the Wled app and I have trouble connecting most things to Alexa but this controller is just fine. I used a separate power supply because I needed more power so I can’t comment on that. I just used it for its ESP32 controlling abilities amd Alexa integration.

Worked fine until it didn’t after three weeks
The ESP boards are coming out from a variety of Chinese sources, and these guys seem to have some quality assurance problems. I found a better board with more features for less anyway.

Great WLED controller
Now I have multiples of these around the house doing everything from under bed lighting, to server rack lighting, to cabinet lighting, and more.Great device to just plug in and start using. Connects easily into home assistant which is my platform of choice. I also like that it is in a nice small enclosure being able to mount anywhere.
