Nice quality, but not breadboard friendly
These switches are a good quality unit and the kit provides a nice variety of sizes and quantities. They're fine for use on solder-type protoboard, but if you're looking for something to use on solderless breadboards, the legs on these switch packs are too short to keep the switches in the board. For my use, I put these switches into breadboard friendly DIP sockets.

Very useful switch kit
I ordered two of these DIP switch kits because I think they are a great value. I received 5 each of the switches indicated in the product description in each package. The product is packaged exactly as shown in the description page. I put mine in a set of labeled storage bins to make them convenient to use in my shop, but the storage container the switches ship with are very space efficient and would be great for a small workspace. The pins on each switch appear to be lightly gold plated instead of just tin. Switch action is firm and has a soft tactile impulse when the switch is opened and closed. It is not as "clicky" as some of my older name brand dip switches. Switch electrical performance appears identical to the name brand switches I have.ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: Switch leads in this kit are designed for PCB mounting. They are too thin to easily insert into a solderless breadboard. I've tried several of them and the pins tend to bend instead of slide into the contacts on the breadboard. The name brand switches in my shop have thicker tin plated leads and are easy to insert into the breadboard (see photo). You might be able to get the switches on a solderless breadboard if you are careful and push real hard. I was not comfortable with the force required and how much sway I was getting from the leads.I think this switch assortment is a great value for PCB projects.

Unexpectedly great selection
All the switches are good quality. Although a little stiff, I associate that with new. What a life-saver. So many combinations from 1 to 10 positions. Absolutely great on my prototype boards.

Not for breadboard wiring
Great variety but does not securely mount into breadboard. Pins are too short.

Cool
Great switches except for the 1 and 2 channel ones which dont really stay in the breadboard when i switch them. Also i was sent 2 (im assuming accidentally) for the price of one lol
