English Pronunciation in Use Advanced Book with Answers and Downloadable Audio: Advanced, Self-Study and Classroom Use: Downloadable Audio Product Bundle – 27 April 2017

I have used much of this book with a Spanish learner whose Englsih pronunciation is nowhere near as good as his reading and writing. It has engaging excersices and clear explanations. There are some surprises, such as when a recording includes a non-Englilsh speaker, which keeps teacher and learner alert!

This is the best book on English pronunciation I know of. It clearly distinguish , when possible American pronunciation form English pronunciation.I am not a native speaker, but I studied and worked in England and Canada, but this is not sufficient to overcome the difficulties of English pronunciation. As far as I could understand the English taught in this book is BBC English , an artificially constructed pronunciation crated on the thirties . I don't know what kind of American pronunciation is taught in the book I think is the pronunciation of Ontario , Canada. The book is very helpful. I ask the readers to pardon my ignorance.

The recording is divided into section A B C and D. Section A is units 1-18. However section A in the book is units 1-6. Book and audio do not match

It is helping so much to improve my pronunciation.

I believe this book is a foundation for all learners of advanced English. Well structured, good vocabulary used for exercises. I found that other pronunciation teaching materials are based on this book. So I do recommend it for self study!

This is a very useful book, and audio CDs. You can use it to improve the English pronunciation on your own, at your own pace. NIce book, indeed,
