There’s a bit of wood on the inside that makes it easy to chew on. The plastic also didn’t make it through the first day

Perfect.........but
Bought this for my three little guys, largest one being 5 pounds, they jump in there and snuggle and they love it! But when it arrived there were several gouges in the wood that already had a base coat of gray paint on it, so I filled in the gouges with wood putty and painted it a beautiful hunter green. Assembly took me a couple of tries (I had the back on the front) the instructions could have been more detailed. The design is perfect for keeping their over-stuffed pillow inside nice and dry during the recent sever weather we've had.

This house looks good and is large enough but the wood is lightweight and not good for a dog over 140lbs

Perfect for two dogs
My two dogs can now sleep outside because this is very comfortable and large enough for them both to sleep in

Great Dog House for My Boy!
I got this dog house for my German Shepherd, and I couldn't be happier. The shipping was super fast; it arrived just 3 days after I ordered it. The quality of the product is top-notch. The wooden structure is solid and well-built. The asphalt roof is a great addition - it really keeps the rain out. And the iron frame around the edges is a brilliant idea. My dog has tried to chew on it a few times, but it's holding up perfectly. it's been a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this dog house to anyone with a medium to large - sized dog.
