The pump is useless
The pump is a joke! I laughed when we took it out of the box. It us useless. Not strong enough to run the vacuum. The pool itself has held up well. But, we have to replace the hoses twice per summer. Would not purchase again.

Awesome pool!
Loving this pool. Have had several Intex pools over the years, this being the largest. We had our ground professionally leveled which I would highly recommend. We joked about the "90min setup" It took 4 of us about 2.5-3 hours once it was out of the box. Not too difficult though. We opted for concrete blocks under the legs rather than wood. Use smaller pavers than you think as ones with more surface area will crack under pressure of the weight. It took about 48 hours to fill. We used a filter on the end of our hose (purchased on Amazon) which really helped us get levels balanced sooner than we have ever been able to with rural well water. Sand filter seems to be working great. We got a skimmer that has been great at keeping debris off the top. We have lots of trees so opted for a vacuum as well. You won't regret this pool. The size is awesome and has already provided so many hours of fun. We plan to keep it up over the winter after draining it down some and treating it accordingly.

Great pool so far...
Love the size, could use some more detail on deminsions of legs, not just the pool...salt water is definitely the way to go. We're on week 2 and all I've added was the initial load of salt and been running the pump every night and I have crystal clear water. The pump could use some higher quality fittings. I walked up this morning to find the fitting at the strainer leaking. I guess it vibrated loose from running? If you tighten too much it tries to crossthread, you can put too much muscle in tightening it. I only used my hands. The dimensions of the legs would have saved some back work. I had to put the pool together and stretch out the legs on all the corners to get a rough measurement to set my pavers, then take the legs loose to dig out for setting them as they need to be level with the pool surface. You definitely want concrete blocks and not the wood. Getting the ground level is crucial before assembly of any pool. I had to spend a week leveling the ground but it was well worth it. I purchased the salt system separately as I saved around $150 in doing so. Sam's club had the best deal on salt in my area at $6 a bag. I filled up to the tan line on the pool and put in 400lbs. It's been doing well and my chlorine levels are on point. Seeing my little girl have fun and letting her help me prep the ground and assemble it was fun, seeing her in it was awesome. Overall I'm pleased with it.

It was a pain in the rear but worth the fight!
My husband and I watched countless videos and read everything we could find on other folks’ experience with this pool. We opted to rent a dingo (spelling?) and dig out 6 inches of yard for the pool. We dug the perimeter out an additional 3 foot from the pool measurements to allow room for the legs. The first time we put the pool up we used 8x4 concrete pavers. We placed them on top of compacted cement rock. These snapped upon filling the pool and bent 10 of the legs. :( We ordered replacement legs and they arrived quickly! We opted to use much larger concrete pavers, 24x12, and the pool is doing great! If you are wondering about the intex skimmer that hangs over the side it’s awesome too! Happy swimming :)

1 year ownership in Maine
I got this pool 5 years ago. It has sustained 4 Maine winters. I have had to replace the pump twice now, but the pool is still in good shape. Just starting to see a little bit of wear.It is a lot of leveling to prep the area but actually putting up the pool is pretty easy. It’s great having such a large pool.My only problem with the pool is the suction side of the pump is about three feet up the wall. So nothing gets pulled off the floor. The pump is decent but a little stronger suction would be better. I found adding a sump pump that circulates from one end of the pool to the other greatly improved circulation and reduced chlorine demand.

You get what you pay for
Given the price we paid for this, I was satisfied with the quality of the pool. Setup was not exactly easy but not terrible. I was not at all satisfied with the pump, which was inadequate for the size of the pool and needed to be replaced. For our own reasons and not because of the quality of the pool, we needed to replace the liner after two seasons and proceeded to have the worst customer experience ordering it from Intex we could have imagined possible. I would strong not recommend this product because if for any reason you need to replace anything that is an Intex part (and anything outside of the steps, pump/filter, or chlorinator are all Intex parts) you will have one heck of a time getting it from them.

Wow....!
Awesome pool! Me, my husband and our adult daughter put the pool together. My only advice is make sure the phone number you have associated with your Amazon account is current. Mine wasn't and it delayed delivery by a few days. They will call you to schedule delivery....Shipping company, SAIA, was super helpful and friendly. Also, once you get the pool frame poles and legs installed, I suggest tying it off to a tree until you have it filled with some water. We didn't tie it off and a gust of wind picked it up and moved it about 8 feet off the mat....A pain to re-position with the poles/legs installed.Don't hesitate buying this pool-it's AWSOME...! We keep the pool clean with chlorine tablets and dry acid....it's not hard to do....Enjoy!

Great pool!
This is our 2nd one of these. We bought the 12 x 24 intex pool 6 years ago and it might have made it another season. It was starting to have some structural issues so we decided to get another one. We even left it up all year long. It did fine in the winter covered. This time we upgraded to the larger one. The product shipped fast and was here BEFORE the est. due date. It was exactly as described. My husband and his brother set it up in a about 3hours. My husband did the leveling ground work the day before. Hopefully, this one will last 6 years too!
