I heated an iron for about 20mins, then I placed the patch on an area in my biker leather vest, then I placed one side of a T-shirt over it, the I placed the iron over it, kept the iron still for about 1+ minutes, then I removed the T-shirt and placed 2 heavy books on top of the patch for about 40mins, and that's it. It is not coming off. Even the edges are very secured (bonded) to the leather vest. I strongly recommend to NOT put the iron directly over the patch as the instructions suggests, better to lay a thin cloth (like a handkerchief) over the patch then iron it slowly or keep iron on place. It's how I do it. Copy at your own risk. This is just sharing my own experience.
