Good Product
Such a good unit and computer I bought 2 of these! They are a c Compact Powerhouse for Everyday and Creative TasksThe Apple 2024 Mac mini with M4 chip delivers impressive performance in a compact form factor, making it an excellent choice for users seeking a balance between power and space efficiency.đ§ PerformanceEquipped with a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, the M4 chip offers significant improvements over its predecessor. Synthetic benchmarks reveal approximately a 20% increase in CPU performance and modest gains in GPU performance, ranging from 5% to 14% . The inclusion of a 16-core Neural Engine enhances AI and machine learning tasks, providing a 35% boost in AI performance compared to the M3 .Real-world applications, such as video editing in DaVinci Resolve and 3D rendering in Blender, perform admirably, with the M4 chip handling tasks efficiently . However, the base model's 16GB unified memory may limit performance in more demanding projects, necessitating consideration of higher memory configurations for intensive workflows.đŚ Design and BuildThe Mac mini's compact design measures just 5 x 5 inches and weighs 1.5 pounds, making it significantly smaller and lighter than previous models . Despite its size, the device maintains a sleek aluminum finish and offers a range of connectivity options, including:Two USB-C ports (front)Three Thunderbolt 4 ports (rear)HDMI portGigabit Ethernet port3.5mm headphone jackNotably, the USB-A port has been eliminated, which may require users to utilize adapters or hubs for certain peripherals . Additionally, the relocation of the power button to the bottom of the device has been met with mixed reviews, as it may be less intuitive for users accustomed to its previous placement .đ Connectivity and Display SupportThe Mac mini supports up to three external displays, including two 6K displays and one 5K display simultaneously, thanks to the M4 chip's enhanced GPU capabilities . This makes it suitable for multitasking and creative professionals who require multiple monitors.đ Efficiency and Noise LevelsThe M4 chip's power efficiency contributes to the Mac mini's quiet operation, even under load. The device remains virtually silent during typical tasks, with the built-in fans rarely activating, making it ideal for quiet work environments .â Pros:Compact and lightweight designEnhanced performance with M4 chipSupports up to three external displaysQuiet operationEnergy-efficientâ ď¸ Cons:No USB-A ports, requiring adapters for certain peripheralsPower button placement may be less intuitiveLimited memory in base model may restrict performance in demanding tasksđ Final VerdictThe Apple 2024 Mac mini with M4 chip offers a compelling combination of performance, efficiency, and compactness, making it suitable for a wide range of users, from everyday consumers to creative professionals. While the base model's memory may limit performance in intensive tasks, the device's overall capabilities and design make it a strong contender in the desktop market.

Love it. Great value for money
Bought this about 6 months ago when I needed a more powerful gaming and audio visual computer for work and play. I have a 6-year-old MacBook Air but felt that I didn't make enough use of the MacBook Air in terms of gaming to warrant buying a $2100 computer. So I decided to go for this puppy instead and have it just at home since I have a home office that I generally work from 3 days a week. So far it's been nothing but fantastic. Load super fast, everything runs very smoothly, plenty of memory and integrates well into all the peripherals that I have. My only small gripe is that it's connected to an Alienware monitor and sometimes the monitor doesn't wake up when I need it to. Apart from that, amazing!

The tiny silver monk that brought peace to my home
I bought the Mac Mini M4 expecting a computer. What I got was a domestic tranquility device disguised as aluminum art.⢠Silent Serenity: It doesnât hum, whir, or scream like our old desktop. It just sits there⌠glowing softly⌠radiating judgmental calm, like a Zen master in a turtleneck.⢠Performance so smooth: Apps open before I even finish thinking about them. The family used to argue over who hogged the laptop. Now, no one fightsâwe just marvel together at how fast Safari loads cat videos in 4K.⢠Household impact: Since plugging it in, the dog barks less, the kids argue less, and even the Wi-Fi has stopped acting up. My spouse described it as âliving inside a meditation app.â I think the Mac Mini may actually be holding the fabric of our family together.⢠Size: Itâs so small it looks like a coaster, yet it runs like a cybernetic cheetah. Sometimes I pat it on the head like a pet. Donât judge me.In short: the Mac Mini M4 didnât just replace my computerâit replaced the subtle chaos in our house with a suspicious level of calm. Iâm half expecting AppleCare to include marriage counseling at this point.

Never thought I would be praising anything Apple!
I have been a Windows PC guy since day one when that "new" thing called a home computer came out, and we are talking around 1981 or so. I think Apple came out around 1977. Anyway, I am no pro by any means but I love electronics, period!! My neighbor of many years is a die hard Apple man, but was into the Microsoft realm years ago, and in fact was quite the go to guy and even built computers for a while. After having to upgrade or try to fix desktop computers and adding ram and video cards to computer towers, etc., he suddenly switched to using all Apple products. He finally convinced me to buy Apple. I would not go near them because of price and how "confusing" they looked to me, etc., but a few weeks of using this unit I am no where close to knowing all there is to know about all the things this ting can do, but slowly learning. When you look at the size of this thing in the pic above (5x5x2) you would think there is no way it can do what a bigger tower Windows machine can do, but I was wrong. This newest version came out last year and I am very impressed (although still in the early stages of learning everything this can do) with this computer.

amazingly quick and efficient not enough SSD storage
I purchased this Mac to replace my very aging older model...... this model is amazing and extremely fast. Unfortunately I do not use it nearly as much due to a small capacity. I was unable to clone my old drive completely due to limited space. My old one had a 1 terabyte, I made a mistake doing set up and not using an external drive to be the main drive. I have yet to fix this issue. I pretty much don't use it wish I had bought a one terabyte but I never would've because of the high price đ but like I said it is amazingly fast and works great BUT I did have a major problem with the display constantly going dark for a few seconds constantly turns out even though I have a 4K monitor the HDMI cable that came with the screen was not fast enough for this computer once I updated the HDMI cable to the fastest one available. I haven't had any problems, I was disappointed that the Samsung monitor didn't have the correct HDMI cable but for the MAC mini just make sure to use a ultra fast HDMI
