The bed frame feels solid. The upholstered headboard adds a nice touch of elegance to the room, and the padding makes it comfortable for sitting up in bed to read or watch TV. One of the best features is the ample storage space underneath the bed, which has been great for storing extra bedding and clothes.Overall, I would highly recommend this bed frame if you're looking for something stylish, affordable, and easy to set up!

Easy to put together. Sturdy. Very quiet. Modern looking.

I was fed up waiting for the bed I ordered a full eight months prior from Valyou furniture, so I cancelled that order and set about researching a "replacement." It didn't take me long to notice this one due to the very high rating and also the very high number of people who rated it. Three days later it was set up in my bedroom and I (almost) couldn't be happier. Here are some specifics. First, pay the extra money to have it dropped where you want it inside your home. It's heavy--I'm 6'2", 300 lbs and would not want to carry it upstairs alone. Second, everything is zipped inside the back of the headboard. Very clever and efficient packaging. Third, if you have someone helping you DO employ both allen wrenches provided. You will literally work twice as fast. One wrench is standard and the other is a nifty wratcheting allen wrench. Next, the directions do not have any words, but the pictures do tell the whole story of the (simple) assembly. Words would have helped, as I misinterpreted two steps. That's why I subtracted a star from both "Easy to assemble" and "Instruction quality." But everything is so easy that it wasn't a big deal to go back and make the corrections when discovered. All told I would say that everything took less than an hour from preparing the bedroom to make room for the frame, unpackaging/building the frame, making the bed on the frame, and tidying everything up. Now, this is one very impressive bed! It is extremely sturdy. It is extremely handsome--pictures don't do it justice, frankly. The gray upholstery is surprisingly high quality--thick and soft. It's an unbelievable deal. And to think I almost paid $900 from (horrible) Valyou and waited eight months (and counting) when I got this baby for about $240 in just three days. An incredible value. If you have made it this far, pull the trigger.

I absolutely love this bed! I saw this bed mentioned as a top pick on a popular consumer product review website, so I thought I'd give it a try since the price was so reasonable. I'd been looking at king-sized tufted headboards for awhile, and everything I liked was much more $$ for the headboard alone than this entire bed.The delivery was super easy. The back of the headboard has a hollow cavity, and all of the components for the bed frame are stored in there in a zippered section on the back side. The shipping container is just the size of the headboard. Though it is somewhat large and very heavy, it's easy to get the individual pieces out of the storage cavity and into the bedroom. I did it all by myself.Installation was straightforward. The metal bed frame makes a t-shape support for the mattress, which gives excellent support to the middle of the bed. Other frames I've used before only support the box springs or mattress on the edges, which can eventually cause the mattress to sag in the middle, but not with this bed. The sides and bottom of the bed are upholstered, too, which makes for a lovely, sturdy finished product.There are bowed slats placed side-to-side across the frame edges that provide support for the entire length of the mattress. I've used a system like that before and found it to work quite well. This bed is no exception. My favorite part is that the slats are lined along the edges with velcro to keep them in place. That's a brilliant idea by the designers!The headboard attaches very securely, as well, and the finished product looks excellent. Though I would prefer the headboard to extend slightly taller, I am otherwise thrilled with this purchase, and will absolutely buy more beds from Zinus as my kids get older and need upgrades.

This is a great value! The bed is great quality, solid wood and steel frame with soft upholstery that doesn't feel scratchy or cheap. Easy to put together too, and once it is it's very sturdy with no creaking or bouncing. Even the feet are well designed with rubber pads to prevent the bed from moving. It even smells nice, like fresh wood, not like glue or plastic. The slats have Velcro so they stay in place too. Overall very well thought out product at a great price. Just be warned, the box is very heavy. It really weighs more than 100 pounds so you'll need help just to move it.

I was afraid to buy a bed frame from Amazon, cuz wanted to touch, sit on and try it first. But then saw the reviews and risked. My experience with Amazon and delivery men was great. Now to the bed. It looks very good and is easy to assemble. I did it myself within an hour. There was manual and hand tool for bolts - very handy! It had its “made in China” smell after unpacking and first few hours. So far it looks great and sturdy. It’s handy that slats are connected together makes their fitting easier. Upholstery material looks and feels very decent, it will be easy to clean. Didn’t check the legs before buying, for some reason not what I expected but they seem okay. The sticky parts for slats got glued in upholstery with a part of plastic wrap. Be careful pulling the wrap and not pull it with fabric all together. Fantastic purchase overall.

I spent a lot of time researching platform beds and reading the reviews, but a lot of the reviews were mixed. This bed had the most consistent, positive reviews and the value for money was undeniable. I was worried about some of the reviews for this bed and others in the Zinus line, saying they found bed bugs in the product. This made me hesitate buying for a while, but then I finally decided to take the plunge. We unpackaged the bed from the box and loved that everything was packed neatly and tightly in the headboard itself. We left all the fabric pcs in the plastic it was wrapped in, along with the headboard, and left it in the freezing cold garage for 5-7 days, just to play it safe. I also sprayed everything down with Lysol for fabrics. May have been overkill, but better to be safe than sorry.You will need help bringing everything upstairs, as it is quite heavy. To make it more manageable, we took it up in pcs instead of all in the headboard.You have to put it together based off of photos only and the only pcs that are labeled are the fasteners in the package, so keep things organized to save yourself any headaches.They provide a handy tool for you for assembly, and it was all I needed!I was able to assemble the bed, by myself, in less than an hour. It was pretty easy, just a couple pauses to stare at the photos to make sure the right bars were where they were supposed to be.I've slept on the bed for about 3 nights now and it's been marvelous! It's sturdy and pretty well constructed. Best of all, it sits flat and is beautiful to look at.The only con, for some, may be the height of the headboard. If you have a fairly deep matress or lots of pillows you like to stand up, you will cover the headboard. I for one, won't have my bed on display for the world, so it doesn't really matter and I just lay my pillows flat.Overall, would recommend and buy this bed again.
