Quite good when you need to fix wrinkled clothes quickly
I was unfortunate to marry a woman, who not only hates ironing, but refuses to do it at all. It's me who irons all my formal shirts for work every week. It was me who ironed all baby clothing until I just gave up as it was getting too much, really. The only time in our marriage when I had my clothing ironed was when we had my mother-in-law visiting. She irones just EVERYTHING, I'd be not surprised if found out she did my shoelases as well...My wife has loads of excuses for not ironing: ironing board is heavy, it's hidden somewhere in a storage, leg pain if you need to stand upright for a long time, etc. I admit, it's not easy for myself to stand for over an hour upright while ironing. I did appreciate we bought this steamer last week when I hurt my back and just couldn't follow Sunday shirts ironing routine, so my wife needed to do it instead of me. Well. She didn't) She just steamed them!My wife has always preferred steaming. It's just easier for her to steam one piece of a garment in the evening (children's clothing mostly) than to do it all at once once a week. She has a point actually, as if you iron everything in one go, and than put it in a wardrobe and take it out one by one when needed, clothing may get wrinkled again, hanging tight and close to each other in a wardrobe. My wife's steamer "died" some time ago and the one she got as a replacement, wasn't a proper steamer, a steamer brusher with no continuos steam, so I keep it to dry clean my suits when needed. She really wanted a steamer, though, and I bought her this one. It had many good reviews plus the price was just good, 20 quid or something. I knew her previous device had a small water tank - just over 100 ml, this one's is almost twice bigger. I saw her steaming my shirts for me for a few evenings last week. Very quick and easy with good results. I started doing it myself, actually. Steamer heats up quickly, in about a minute, quicker than our kettle. It does look like a mini kettle to me. It's not heavy at all, may be good for small trips. It doesn't spill if you use it right, move slowly and in upright position (you need to shake it or tilt it for it to spill). One fill is enough to do a good job on one shirt.Overall, handy device, it's not a replacement for conventional ironing, though, and I'm back to my ironing routine this weekend. However, it's really good when you on a trip with no iron access, or need to fix quickly one wrinkled piece. My wife keeps using this steamer for kids' clothing and soft toys that are not allowed to be washed properly. She's happy and I'm happy because she's happy.

Quick & easy. Great for when you are in a rush.
Incredibly quick and easy to use. Literally irons out stubborn creases in seconds. Perfect for when you pull out an item of clothing out of your wardrobe to wear to find out it needs a quick iron. No need to mess around with an ironing board. Just fill with water, plug in, turn on and wait literally 30 seconds even though the instructions suggest you need to wait longer. Will definitely be taking this steamer on holiday with us!

Ideal for my small apartment and fast ironing
Ideal for my small apartment and fast ironing. I can not put a full ironing board, so the steamer helped out in this situation. Short readiness time. It ironed well the shirt that lay in the closet for a very long time, so the wrinkles were strong (se the pictures: the right side after steaming). I guess it good for travellers also.

Really does work
I didn’t expect much from this despite the other positive reviews (I know, I know...) however, it’s fantastic for difficult to iron fabrics like silk, chiffon, tulle, linen, etc and works a treat on any lightweight item. For something like a heavy cotton shirt or denim you’re still better off with an iron, but this is great for travelling. Definitely recommend.

Nice Item
Bought this product since I'm living in a small flat and don't have space for an ironing board, but I now know I will never go back! This looks small at first but it holds enough water to steam 8-12 articles of clothing with no issue, and heats up way faster than any iron I've used. It's obviously a lot safer to use than an iron, don't have to worry about damaging your clothes and it has odour-removing properties - I found this great for when I took my winter clothes out of storage, it removed the wrinkles and that stale odour from being in the vacuum bags! This also works great for getting wrinkles out of larger items like duvet covers and curtains too, I've used this on everything with no issue!Would absolutely recommend, such a great tool that has made my life easier. No more fussing about with an ironing board and iron!

Really works well
This portable steamer is really light and small but works as like iron. It is easy to make it ready and it takes 2 minutes to make clothes straight. It works with just water but it becomes very hot so be careful after filling it up with water and start.

Fast to heat
I bought this as I needed to travel for a wedding and my normal travel iron decided to stop working just before we left. Thank goodness I tested it the week before or we would have been very wrinkly guests at my fiends wedding.I bought this steamer as a last minute purchase to bring with us after we had had to travel and pack our wedding outfits onto a small carry on bag.Well I am very glad I did as it was a massive success. The steamer weighs just over half a kg so is lightweight and easy to travel with. It takes only one minute to heat up after filling the water tank which holds 180ml of water. The steamer lasts almost 15 minutes which was the perfect amount of time and steam for me to ‘iron’ 4 items for the both of us when we arrived at our hotel.I used the steamer on my husband’s shirt and tie and all of my outfit as well. The steamer both freshened up the closed and also got rid of 95% of the wrinkles that were on the clothes. It worked really really well and my husbands shirt! Now we are home I have found this to be much easier to use than my standard iron and tend to use it all of the time when aI need a few last minute items de wrinkled quickly before use. I still use the iron for big piles of ironing!I have also found this really handy when my curtains have been washed and need de wrinkled when I have hung them back up. This is a handy piece of kit that will be travelling with me on many more trips.
