New model is such an improvement!
Bought this same incubator last year and since they have made updates. This new version of the incubator is much better at regulating temperature and humidity with the attached fan on the side. I have hatched 4 rounds of eggs so far with this model.Ducks: last year with the old model 2/3 hatchedChicks: 4/7 hatched (started with the old model and had to purchase a new model as it wasn’t regulating temp)Chicks: 5/5 hatched (new model only!)Ducks: 1/3 hatched (again switched from the old model to the new at the start of incubation) I did have a second duck that started to hatch but didn’t make it.Ducks: 3/3 new modelOverall I’ve had a 100% hatch rate when using strictly the new updated model of this product!

It works!
My 4 year old loves the movie Migration and had been asking me for weeks if she could have an egg out of the fridge to sit on because she really, really, really wanted to hatch one. I told her the best way I could that it just doesn't work that way and she cannot hatch the groceries - fast forward to our visit to grandmas (who has land and chickens), naturally we came home with 3 possibly fertilized chicken eggs! So what was a girl to do other than jump on Amazon and find an inexpensive incubator that can arrive fast!? This was the lucky winner and it did not disappoint! I had never in my life tried to hatch eggs, let alone under so much pressure, lol. This was easy to assemble. The brand/seller provided a video that was super helpful in making sure I assembled correctly. The temp and humidity buttons are easy to use if you need to adjust settings. It was small enough to sit on my counter in our small kitchen. It was quiet. I'd forget it was there sometimes. I filled the water jug all the way up when I set it up and I had to turn around and fill it all the way up once more that same night. After that I think I maybe had to fill it 4 more times throughout the 21 days. The eggs rotated nicely. I left the machine on the preset settings which was 100*F and 60% humidity. I used the light feature to candle the eggs a few times to see if they were indeed fertile. I was able to see veins in 2 of the 3 eggs using that feature so it did the job. My 3rd egg just wasn't fertilized so it wasn't the incubators fault that one didn't hatch. On day 19 I removed the orange rotation device and bumped the humidity to 65% (because my research suggested doing so) and magically on day 21 I noticed the cracks and had 2 healthy baby chicks!! Before seeing those cracks I honestly wasn't sure if there were live chickens in there or not! After they hatched they were dry and fluffy within 12 hours so I moved them to a brooder box. All in all, I'd say this is a nice little starter incubator!

Great egg incubator
Our previous incubator was VERY old and kind of crappy. So we purchased this one and I was amazed at how well made this incubator was, and how they really thought out the features. So nice to be able to fill the humidifier water without taking off the lid. Being able to easily read the digital display is a real game changer. You know instantly that your temperature and humidity is spot on. The egg turner is a nice feature also. I still have not figured out the egg candling feature, but that is my operator error, and I will go watch some more YouTube videos on that. Definitely a good buy and I would recommend. They say you can use it for duck/turkey/etc... eggs, but we have only used it for chicken eggs.

Killed my quail…
Incubator was working great right up until eggs went into lockdown. The humidifier failed and the humidity would not stay above 50%. (Looks like the wiring may have become corroded?) It killed all 18 of my quail eggs…. (Caused shrink wrapping of the egg membrane and I couldn’t trouble shoot it enough to save them).I tried to reach out to the company multiple times to sort things out or get assistance before posting a review and they never responded. I’m out the money on the incubator, my eggs, and a month of time, hope, and love that I put into those eggs.Did a bit of research on this incubator too and it seems like I’m not the only person to have the humidifier fail on this product. Amazon took the blame for the product issue in the past and hid those reviews on the site claiming “they shipped the product so they take responsibility for its issues”. Really recommend going with a different option. I wish I did.

Best incubator Ever!
This is not a paid advertisement and I was not given this incubator. This is a five incubator. It is the easiest, most reliable one I have ever had. It does practically everything by itself. I had a 48 egg in another incubator that I used last month and the temperature would fluctuate up and down requiring constant adjustments. In the end all 48 eggs were not viable. My next attempt was to buy one from Walmart, but within an hour it broke. My third attempt was to buy this one. Setting it up was a breeze. I placed 22 eggs in the incubator and after a few days the Missouri tornado hit, knocking out my power for one week. Threw out those eggs. My last attempt was to put 22 eggs in incubator and last night I candled them. All but five were viable. I am very happy with this incubator and plan to use it again as soon as my little chicks are born.
