Review: A masterpiece product for pain relief! With caveats. - They’re a lifesaver and a nice addition to anyone’s first aid. Be mindful of Lidocaine patches, while they are effective, they can cause further skin irritation with uneven use. You’ll need to read the directions for these as they are but a percentage point lower than prescription lidocaine patches, and depending on the individual, your symptoms may be less than worthy of using these for long term use. But for me, I had upper back pain in a particular area and they work well for about 3 hours of use, then kinda fade out over the day. You’re not supposed to use more than 3-4 a day, so i’d go along with that. If after a few hours pain is returning, or it’s in a different area, it’s fine to take the one you have off and cover the prior area and new area, it’s all dependent on how painful it is, for me I was experiencing a numbness and itchiness in that part of my back. The icyhot formula has always worked, but lidocaine is a perfect addition to their standard formula. I’m satisfied to say the least, and a little peeling doesn’t bother me I assure you when the pain is relieved. But with that said, the adhesive is abysmally bad. They really need to work on that. I advise that you take as many fabrics as you can off that may collide with the product. You can also use a little surgical tape to help keep it on if you have some handy. Otherwise, keep pressing.
